That’s my store to go, when it comes from surfboards, wetsuits, clothing for my entire family. Best staff and the prices are always good. Staff are always happy to help me with everything I need. Can’t go wrong at Sideways Tweed Heads. Give it a go you won’t be disappointed.

Great service, especially from the full time staff, mon-fri. They all seem to be surfers and can give you good advice on boards and wetties.

Don’t buy at sideways, their shorts differ in fitting and no refund is offered.
They use the excuse we are an outlet store.
That’s a con, you’re better off going to a surf shop and paying the extra couple of dollars for piece of mind.
I certainly won’t be buying here again.

Really good variety of clothes and great deals all the time, can find some hidden gems if you look hard enough.

Went the other day, asked the young fella at surf counter, asked about the proper wax to use for this time of year, he was so helpful and walked to wax section and showed me. Also gave me a run down of soft boards. His knowledge was excellent and he was so helpful. Thanks Johnny

The staff are always helpful and friendly, with a smile on their face. Always lots of stock to choose from. Great place to shop at awesome prices.

Shopping at sideways is best for swimwear but there are better surf shops for clothing probably at better prices.

Picked up cheap pluggers/thongs and a wide brimmed hat. Big warehouse style shop with a pretty good variety of surf gear. The only thing they could change is some larger signage showing discounted pricing.

I’m really disappointed with customer service at this store.
I bought a longboard yesterday at sideways tweed heads firstly the salesman said the wrong price. He didn’t know the one that I choose it wasn’t in sale as the other 8ft. I just knew when I was paying for it it was full price.
Secondly he left me with the wrong fins at the checkout and the girl at the counter needs to call him to bring the right single fin. He even did not explain that I need a specific screwdriver to plug the fin into the board.

Im really disappointed. I needed to go to another shop ask for assistance.

Customer service is non existent. Plenty of stock (if you like overpriced T shirts from Bangladesh) but can't ever find anything I like. No surf brands - whatever happened to Billabong and Quicksilver? Just get board shorts and go.

Products excellent, staff excellent. Procedures and processes for gift card buying a nightmare. They have no systems, their right hand does not know what their left hand is doing.
For this day and age one would think they would have excellent computer systems. They really are in the dark ages. It is such a shame as it does turn you off buying there

I had a reply from Leah - Owner, and it was very disappointing that she has taken my comments personally. I was talking about their systems not their staff nor her.
Unfortunately, once again, the customer's original feedback is not given the right perspective. For e.g. The response to Amit's feedback. My perception was Amit was asking for communication only about his situation, that is all.
We thoroughly enjoy your Store and shop there many times and have spent thousands of dollars, so it is not your product nor your staff Leah, it is the companies procedures.

Fantastic quality and the best prices I paid 25 for 125 pair of swimmers, staff very friendly a must go too

Really poor customer service,
I had problem with my new wetsuit that I bought only 2 weeks ago, the manager said he will send it to the company to repair and will update me with everything what’s going on.
It’s already more then a week that I still wait for some message or any updates
I haven’t get any message or phone call about the issue.
I never complained but this really disappointing.

Excellent selection of reasonable value surf and skatewear. I've been here before and both times was impressed. I would happily visit again if I need shorts, t-shirts, surf style thongs. Staff seemed friendly and helpful.

Excellent staff and products! So many deals on clothings and boards. Defenitly worth a visit, they have tons of brands in store at a reduced price!

Staff here are very helpfull got a swankie pair of shorts for the old man but he didnt want em cause he reakons he only wears stubbies refund was no worries first and last time in 60 yrs i git him a valentines
