Shoal Bay Holiday Park

Access roads to narrow, when caravan area is busy its to cramped to move safely, wouldnt recommend in busy times

The cabins were usual traditional cabins, clean with standard bathrooms. However the amenities block was outstanding. Very clean and tidy, modern, lots of space, by far best showers I’ve experienced for sure! Would come back solely for that amenities block! Great location right on the beach was so nice to be able to go for a walk along the beach at night and not stress about a journey back to the accomodation.

Great caravan park. Amenities very modern and clean. No hassles booking and paying prior to entry. Express check in. All details emailed re access code, amenities code prior to arrival. Beach access across the road multiple entries onto Beach and wharf. Very reasonably priced

We stayed in a safari tent that was clean and adequately equipped. We were warm despite the cold evening we slept through.

Best holiday park we've been to on our road trip is far. Facilities were fantastic, super clean. A stones throw from the beach. Staff were really friendly too.

Cabins are clean, all beds & linen were top notch, park is kept clean, all amenities available, great family atmosphere, families with young kids all around. A really great location, with everything in walking distance. Highly recommended

I was really looking forward to this holiday but spent the weekend surrounded by people partying till 3am and being so inconsiderate of others around them.our tent was placed in the middle of a group of 20 young men that had literally come to party all weekend when we have a 3 year old child and also I am 16 weeks pregnant, disappointed and won’t be staying here again

Perfect location next to the beach. Rooms were exactly as they said they would be and were perfectly clean.

Lovely spot. Sites are way too small for the average 21 foot van. Bins are a mile away. Great staff.

I stayed at this park at $180 dollars a night the air conditioner sounded like it was ready to explode it made massive noise the ceiling fan in the bedroom sounded like it was on it's last legs and made a terrible noise I thought the fan was going to collapse on me the fridge door didn't shut properly I didn't have any privacy I left the day before departure because of the privacy issues and the poor quality of the park I will never stay at this shoal bay park again the the park need massive upgrades and maintenance in the cabin I stayed a it was poor quality my wife passed away i needed peace and the park takes advantage of anyone no matter the circumstances there was no respect to my privacy I live among tent dewelesthe most important part of my life was treated with no respect my daughter was left disabled all I wanted was time to recover but the park on trip adviser put me down the had my phone number to talk to me but made it a matter of money

We stayed 2 nights at a powered tent site. Really great facilities - not what you'd except from camping at all. Very modern, well maintained. We checked in late and all the info was emailed to us beforehand which made our arrival really easy. A little bit of noise from other guests at night but quiet enough after 10pm.
The location is fantastic! Just off the beach, within walking distance the the national park and local shopping strip.

Cabins beautiful. Clean + comfortable for 2 ppl. The mattress is one of the best I've slept on in accommodation. A maximum 5min stroll to the beach. A 10 min stroll to local shops. Lovely, relaxing stay. We will come here again

Stayed in the Safari tent. Everything was great except the beds are a little uncomfortable and springy.

Perfect spot for a relaxing weekend or walk around and enjoy the surrounding sites.
The glamping tents are very comfortable and the local wildlife hang around to surprise you every now and then.

Great park right across the road from the beach and only a short walk to the shops/restaurants

Best amenities I’ve come across - lovely modern rain fall showers. We were greeted by a very friendly person on the front desk, and enjoyed our 2 night stay here. It’s just a few minutes walk to local shops or you can walk about 35mins to Nelson Bay. Highlight was seeing a giant lizard wandering around the campsite in the morning!
