The worst eyelash lift i ever had. Didnt even think that it can be done so badly. And I have got it done many times. Asked to revert it as lashes were going all directions including inside my eyes but was refused. Asked for a refund and was refused as well.
Really bad service
No wonder the place is always empty

I went for an eyelash perm and tint and I left very disappointed and upset with experience and end result.

My eyelashes were permed in odd directions and some in tangled zig zags. I asked the woman if she could try and straighted them but even after trying to redirect them they are still set wrong. The photos don't show all the errors.

The woman was also very rough and rushed dispite the place being empty. I had to tell her when she was hurting me by pushing on my eyes too hard. She kept poking my head with the sharp instruments and she was quite rough ripping the tape off from under my eyes.

My eyes were very sore afterwards and were left with a lot of glue and dye on them. She told me I could wash it off myself at the sink which was quite dirty and hard to get your face over.

The woman did not seem to care that I was unhappy with the result she just kept telling me that my eyelashes were too short.

The woman was also talking to someone on the phone via an ear bud while doing my lashes which was a little rude.

Went in for an eyebrow wax. Two issues:
1. Told her at the onset, before she started that I do not want threading, waxing only as threading is painful for me. She acknowledged. She completed the waxing and said she needed to threading the rest to clean it up. I asked her to use tweezers, she said she didn't know how to. She offered for me to leave with unfinished eyebrows. I wasn't going to pay and leave with unfinished brows. Figured since there was no discount, may as well finish the job. She kept trying to lecture me about why she needed to thread & not acknowledging that she knew she had to thread even when I told her from the beginning I did not want ANY threading. SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME BEFORE I WENT IN.
2. Told her from the start my skin is sensitive to hot wax, my skin has been burnt off before & to use the sensitive wax. While she was doing the waxing I told her it was too hot, my eyebrow section was burning. She said it was normal. I understand it's normal, I've gotten my brows waxed many times, this was not. Lo and behold my eyebrow has a burn mark now.
Truly hope they read reviews and improve, but until they do, DO NOT GO HERE.

I wanted to do my eyebrow wax n she did wax & treading plus the wax was so hot it burn mu skin. She was like doing it in hurry by the way wasn't that busy the shop. Disappointed never go there again? She ruin my eyebrows.

Terrible tanning experience. The liquid was dripping off me - not a spray as expected. Very inexperienced operator. Had to go and buy tan remover afterwards. Paid $59 - most expensive I’ve ever paid. Don’t bother!

One star is very generous service from the young ignorant lady working on Sunday. Lack of product knowledge limited experience and English made understanding and communicating impossible. Her work was absolutely atrocious and her rude behaviour to other customers in front of me was absolutely disgusting. Wasted my precious time and money for bodgy patchy work and needed to have it fixed by another professional. Should have read other reviews before visiting this place!

First time 2 months back was ok but not perfect

Today I was completely disappointed because my skin and eyes burnt Also my forehead was so black (colour may have seeped post colouring) at home everyone thought I had a black band.i touched my head and found black colour on my fingers. I washed my hair at home and used so many alcohol wipes to get rid of the colour from my forehead still not 100%

While it is unlikely I will visit them again whoever goes there please don't ask natural black No. 2.

Should’ve read reviews before booking. Would not recommend and will not be coming back. Worst Brazilian wax I’ve had. A lot of bruising and the beauty therapist did not seem like she knew what she was doing. Also not very good hygiene practices - nothing laid down over the plastic table. Also very over priced.

If you want your skin ripped off, wax in your hair and on your eyelashes while getting your eyebrows done then go here. Worst experience in my life. Mind you the heigene is disgusting I was told to lay down on a pillow with other people's plucked hairs on it.

Would not recommend this and definitely not coming back. Should've read reviews before making a booking.

One of the worst lash extension experiences I’ve had. (coming from someone who's done lash extensions for 5 years)

Lash Experience: 1/10 - this has been the most painful lash extension experience I’ve had. There’s so much tugging and pulling and brushing my lids (which i have no idea why that was necessary). She used her hands to push, pull and tug. Glue went into my eyes and it stings.

Outcome: 1/10 - my lashes were too thick and too long, there was glue everywhere. There are gaps and the lashes are applied in different directions.my lashes are now hardened and painful.

Price: 1/10 - Definitely not worth it.

It’s an embarrassment and I went to a different place the next day to get it removed.

I went in on 03/03 to have a cut, colour and blow dry and left with the worst haircut I have ever had and was almost in tears afterwards as I look ridiculous. Paid $160 to look awful.

I was at the Top Ryde shop this evening. Had an upper lips threading appointment. My appointment was at 6: 30pm & i reached at 6: 40pm because of heavy traffic. Normally, I call and inform if I am running late but this time the shop’s landline wasn’t working (since last 3 days) so I couldn’t call. I was received by this lady named, Saima, at the reception. She spoke to me quite rudely, with a lot of attitude & facial expression - even after explaining why I was late / couldn’t call. Note: I was THE only customer in the shop at that point.
It seemed like she already had mopped the floor, cleaned the shop and was just wanting to close and leave the shop. She rushed me to the room, somehow finished the threading in a giffy. I asked for a hand-held mirror to check the threading BUT she refused to give me one. Said, i must use the mirror on the wall. Obviously, the light on the mirror was insufficient and I am only noticing patches of hair left after returning home.
Not only this, at the payment counter, ishe refused to take card. She had switched off the card machine and insisted I pay cash.
It is worth noting that an upper lip threading takes hardly 5 mins. Today being Thursday, shop was open upto 7pm. I arrived at the shop at 6: 40pm, which gave Saima, enough and more time to finish my service “professionally” if she wanted to.
Avoid Saima at all costs — Such an arrogant, rude an unprofessional lady.
No customer deserves this kind of treatment.

I asked to get my eye lash lift, the lady working at Burwood store had no idea! I had glue left on my eyes my lashes were left with so much glue.
No difference I rang the manager & told her I wasn’t happy & she did not care at all told me I couldn’t get my money back & didn’t care I wasn’t happy. I was told by another shop in the centre there never busy & close shop half days.
Please do not visit any of there stores biggest waste of money.

I just had the worst hair cut experience of my life at this place. They were running 30 mins late as they were trying to fit in walk ins as well, after the wait i then got my hair washed rather roughly. I then was taken to the hair dressing seat where I had to wait ten mins because the lady cutting my hair had disappeared to the toilet, she finally came back and then walked away again because she had to assist with piercing walk-in. Once she had finished that she got distracted talking to the owner at reception l asked if she would come over and she ignored me and kept talking. After waiting for 25 mins with wet hair I was freezing. Finally when I left they told me they couldn’t find my online payment and tried to charge me again and when they finally found it they hardly apologised. Additionally with the current Covid restrictions masks are required but the salon staff were all wearing the mask around their chins like bandanas. What a bloody terrible experience don’t go to this place

Was served by a really nice lady called Mariam and loved the cut she gave me. Will definitely come back to these lovely ladies.

Mariam did a fantastic job waxing my arms and legs. Her service is always professional and thorough. I enjoy my sessions at this salon and for the friendly atmosphere I experience.

Amazing service and very clean environment. Always on time and staff make you feel very comfortable! Mariam at Top Ryde has been doing my hair for a few months now and I am extremely impressed! Blowdry and hair styling is amazing and always on point, and now I continue to go weekly! Always a fun experience!

My experiences here have all been pleasant and one of their staff members Mariam had amazing service and such a kind heart with great customer service skills. I will be sure to come back here. The staff are so welcoming and friendly while taking great care of your hair as well. 10/10
