Sharky Beach reviews
29 Very ferocious waves here. It is not recommended for swimming, as the waves are very excited.
The beach is nice, with a little canal. The rocky bits is sewer and smells bad, but the end bit of water is ocean water and is cold and beautiful. The sand is not too clean, but fun to play.
Lots of dogs tough.
Exelent, I love to go there with our dog. Beach is very clean Good spot to spend the day!
Very clean dog friendly beach
Parking was easy - this is definitely my new go to dog beach!
Great beach, awesome to be able to take your dog there, my only complaint is there is only 1 shower at one end of the beach, minor complaint, but just be aware you will be walking if you parked at the wrong end!
Great little (unpatrolled) beach. Every so often a banh mi van will park here and sell some of the best banh mi on the coast. Definitely recommend for those times.
This is a dog friendly beach and it's off leash. So nice to find a beach like this. Easy to park and an easy walk to the waters edge.
Stunning location, beautiful beach at the foot of the escarpment.
A dog friendly beach
Sometimes muddy, but it's nice to have a park for small dogs. People and dogs are both great.
Such an awesome dog beach!
Has toilets attached and a shower to wash your dog after a frolic in the sea water.
So many dogs in such a relaxed way.
I found my girl her doggy heaven
Nice clean beach. There’s parking there. Don’t park at the pinecourt park and walk there. Can’t walk around the headland unless it’s after 4. I got a warning from a council ranger.
It was quiet and there’s plenty of places to explore. Nice people and dogs about
Beautiful beach side - not conducive for swimmers and not sure the breaks are designed for surfing - but a beautiful outlook nonetheless
Great beach for a walk. Gets busy very popular with dog walkers. Its a big beach so its easy to find your own space.
Great beach for the pupper. Provided bags were out and I saw at least 2x dogs leaves hidden "treasures" as a result. Luckily I found another use for a Coles 15c bag when it was my turn.
Cool beach with a surf break out to the right side, be careful because there is a reef here which can be dangerous for surfers
Small beauty, far from Sydney but full of locals. Free parking, if you find any. No surf guard so be careful. And BYO, food or drinks, waiting time at only fish-n-chips lunch time on average 30-45 minutes. I did 50
Good beach. Nice and quiet. Many good vibes to be had down at sharkies. Be sure to bring a towel!
Brilliant beach for chilling out on the sand.
Not life guards however so wouldn't venture to far into the water.
A man called Thomas interrupted my afternoon to talk about carbon farming soil. Watch out for him. I was just trying to enjoy a day at the beach, not solve the worlds problems.
Clean beach and not so busy, shallow water and the rock pool area amazingly attractive. Accidentally found this beach as we passing through the area.
