18Nice place for family and friends gathering. Will be very satisfying if we get some play areas and items for children as currently it is empty grass land
Just a walk way and small play area. Grass was in need of mowing.
HISTORY
Shannon's Brick, Tile and Pottery factory adjoined the southern boundary of the reserve for 70 years (1912 - 1982). The company was established in 1903 by Robert Shannon.
It's a good park with plenty of play area for kids. Very clean and maintained. Separate walking tracks. Good amount of space for Playing cricket, football etc. This park doesn't have BBQ. Plenty of benches to sit.
It is beautiful park with ample space for family activities. But sad to see the people misuse the facilities by littering. Local community should take the responsibility to do the right thing by leaving this gift of a park the way they found it.
Best place to spend some time by sitting alone, or by running, or by exercise, or with family or friends.
Small play area with 2 swings and a small slide. But the park is big enough for kids to run around.
A nice, big green space for the residents of the surrounding streets. Has a good paved walking/biking path and enough space for casual field games. Evenings are bustling with adults and kids getting together for walks and talks. The kids area is well maintained, but there is a shortage is play equipment and is overrun by kids in the evenings.
Good place to visit with kids in westmead.
No guraanteed parking around but street are open for checks.
It's a pretty nice place with lots of friendly people and places to play cricket and soccer. There is also a park mearby.
Well maintained paddock with a children's park and bike track. The children's play area is crowded in the evenings. Very close to a the usually busy Darcy road. So you should have an eye on the little ones always.
The coolest place for everyone we seniors found other seniors with our grandchildren loved every time i visited
Good place for everyone to have a walk. Kids enjoys the park, and the kids area is usually busy during evenings from 6-8pm. Cyclist and walk ways path are same. Kids do cycle genrally, so take care if you have toddlers.
Local Park at Wenworthville with some kids facilities. Not gated though meaning children need to be supervised at all times as very busy road is right next to children's play area. Gets very busy in the evening with lots of children
Large patches of grass adjacent a sewer creek, but it makes for a great place to walk around. Sizeable playground and relatively quiet streets make this park relatively safe. Lively and peaceful at the same time.
Beautiful and well maintained park. Pretty birds can be spotted occasionally. Like to visit it all the time.
Great little spot. Just a shame skumbags drink here at night time and leave broken bottles everywhere. Also a shame Parramatta council doesn't clean it up.
Great place for morning/evening running/cycling. Watch out for kids, they are everywhere:) Lots of benches near the walkways. It was crowded in the evening though, all the benches were occupied. Fabulous place to hang around with the local people. What a place to make new friends for kids as well as their parents.
It's a big empty space of grass, with a fenced off canal splitting one side from the nearby playgound. Good place to give your dog a run around, play ball games etc. Also a good shortcut from Westmead Coles to Wentworthville station
