Its our new favorite joint for dinner. Our family have just moved to the area and these guys have great food and even (very kindly) stayed open for us when we arrived late (like 9!) it was so late but these guys were so kind and could squeeze us in.highly recommend they also have a bar and cocktails which is fun

Omg. Delicious is an understatement.
My first time trying Indian.and the hosts were so informative and were willing to accommodate any requests in reference to spiciness. The others at my table were regular eaters of Indian and were extremely impressed also.
Cannot fault my experience will definitely be back and recommending to anyone who will listen.

Best Indian restaurant I have been to on central coast.great food away from normal offerings in other "Indian on coast.goat/Daal Tandoori and lots of combos you don't get at other Restaurants.

Dinner was simply sublime. Had Chicken Tikka Masala and the 2nd best one I've ever had, after the awesome Urban Tadka in Terrey Hills, Sydney.

Humble excellence, hands down, best Indian restaurant on the Central Coast. Food is authentic, fresh and delicious, capturing variety in regional spice cuisine. Staff service is helpful, welcoming and kind.

I loved the decor, felt lovely when first walked in. We were greeted with the most lovely and attentive waitress. Food was fantastic! I got the prawn vindaloo 'spicy hot'. Its the best ive ever had and indeed spicy hot. Butter chicken was fantastic. Chicken was perfectly cooked. Naan was amazing. Kids meals were well sized and they loved the complementary papadums. I will definitely be back to try the goat curry!

I ordered a pickup. The lady on the phone was very rude. When I got to the place to pickup, she didn't bothered talking to me. She was quite rude and it was an unpleasant experience. Panner Makhni and Garlic naan were good but veg biryani was terrible. We had to put it in bin after taking a bite. It was full of food colour and very salty.

Amazing food. We ordered the Chicken Biryani, Paneer butter masala and Cheese and Garlic naan which was so yummy ️. Having friendly staff over there with a best service. Must visit️

Had dinner at The Entrance last night. The food was fantastic. Flavours were absolutely amazing. The manager was engaging and attentive. We live locally, and will be back soon!

Of attitude. The lady (looks like owner) talks so rudely and always on phone. Had to stand up go to her every time to talk. We were okay to tolerate all that assuming there must be shortage of staff but to our surprise food was pathetic too. We ordered kids fried rice and we were asked how much spicy “medium or hot” we responded mild only as it’s for kids and it came as super hot when we raised the response was ridiculous. We’re asked to just eat and not pay. It was very rude of someone saying that. When we asked to replace it as kids were super hungry they brought noodles this time less spicy but very very salty and the owner said eat previous one also and “if you don’t like mix both and eat in Punjabi “ these were his words literally. I am beyond shocked. My mum is pure vegetarian and visiting here she was skeptical about the hygiene I assured her being in Australia they have to follow standards to convince her I asked this owner lady if veg and non veg food is cooked separately in kitchen and I still can’t believe she responded “shelves are seperate but obviously the cook can’t wash hands and utensils each time they touch the food “ that was the most stupid response I ever heard honestly. What if someone is highly allergic to some food s you serve them with same hands. Hope you understand the impact? Imagine if I report this?
I don’t know how they got 5 stars for anything hopefully they are not forced or paid.

Really welcoming restaurant, great customer service and food was absolutely amazing, highly recommend for a night out with the family.

The customer service was perfect the food was spectacular.
The Butter Chicken was full of flavour, the Lamb Rogan Josh meat was so soft it melted in our mouths, Rice, Cheese and Garlic Naan. We also tried the Crispy Mushrooms which were filled with potato and spices.
We would definitely come back here next time.

“Truly Delicious” I went there after getting a good review by my friend and now I know I can trust him for anything, jokes apart. Yes he was right the food here at Shahi Mahal is scrumptious. I’m a pure vegetarian and I enquired about the same and they assured me about the hygiene and different utensils. I ordered Paneer Butter masala, dal makhni and some other dishes but these two worth the mention as they were spot on. I like hot food and it was bullseye. They were running out of staff due to holiday season but i got a good service, got served with hot food and everything was on time which was great. The staff is very courteous and friendly, they understand your demand and need which is rare to find. Thank you for good meal Shahi Mahal.

We ordered take-away twice already and love it! Butter chicken is delicious and the cheese and plain naan bread is perfect! We will definitely come back next time we are here.

Worst experience ever… I ordered a Chicken 65, I think they dont know how a chicken 65 looks like.

Better provide the quality instead of manipulating and taking the money from customers.
