Terrible customer service. Need to learn basic customer service and not to say F U to your customers.

3 orders, 3 mistakes. They’re perfect. They will stuff it up every time. Loader drivers don’t clean the buckets between materials resulting in contamination and they deliver unmixed sand/ gravel at obviously incorrect ratios.
Their mistakes cost builders thousands of dollars a year.

I've been using Seymour's for years. Always reliable competitive pricing and great to deal with.

A true local one stop shop. There might be bigger, but there certainly isn’t anyone around with the knowledge and attention to detail like these guys.

Staff are mostly rude, but they always have stock and will sort you out for pick-up or delivered

Unbelievable generosity - we are a Community Garden in a diverse community that was in need of some soil for our communal plots but had little funds available. Seymour Building Supplies came to the rescue & delivered a truck load of top soil for us that we'll mix with compost. The soil has gone into plots next to the fence line, where we're going to plant herbs so people from the community can pick them through the fence, without having to be a member or coming into the garden. Thank you all so much for the extremely generous donation from all of us

Since the closing of Buffalo Hardware I have visited Seymours 3 to 4 times and found the shop well stocked - helps if you know what you are looking for and I have found staff helpful - sell sand & blue metal etc as well.
I hope that when Bunnings in Gladesville open that Seymours don't lose business to the Octopus … Good luck and hope you survive.

I have just had the worst experience in your hardware. I came in to get some advise on hanging something on our wall and the horrible person that served me was so rude and abusive I would never come back to your shop and feel so strongly about it I'll be telling other potential customers to stay away. You need to explain to your employees that they work in the customer service industry. The person in question was a white blading male and extremely old!

If it was possible to give zero stars that's what you'd get!

This traditional hardware store, is all smiles with genuine old fashion service. You will get looked after well. Staff will guide you, help you and inform you. It is a great way to be received and taken care of. They have a large variety of everyday hardware items. Quick service with side street parking.

I have experienced same arrogant customer service as someone else have mentioned on these reviews. I dont wish bad for anyone, but fortunately, there are plenty more shop options where to go to.

Fantastic customer service. Called up today after a product which they did not have in stock but they rang me back with the closest supplier for what I was after. That extra mile of service made a huge difference to my work day as collecting the item was time sensitive.

If they dont have it they will get it in. This is a not a mc cafe hardware. Proper builders hardware close to the city. Re prices found them to be competitive.
