Sew with Galina

Galina is a fabulous sewing teacher for both children and adults. My daughter and I teamed up for private lessons, then my 9 year old son and I had private lessons. Galina has an infectious enthusiasm. She is kind and clearly loves sewing. After I stopped classes my son joined an after school kids class. Sewing is not just for girls. Many great fashion designers are men!
My son now has many cool stuffed toys, t-shirts, hat …. It’s a lifetime skill I’m so happy he had the opportunity to learn.

My daughters and I have been to Galina’s sewing classes and five stars are not enough to rate them. Galina is the most knowledgeable and creative teacher who has a beautiful and calm way of teaching kids from a young age how to responsibly use the sewing machine, the hot iron as well as make and cut their own patterns. My girls (7 and 10 years) love to work on their own sewing projects after having been to Galina’s classes.
I have no sewing experience and she taught me how to make dresses for my daughters as Christmas presents which was a very inspiring experience for me. Lifelong new skills for the whole family thanks to a brilliant teacher)

Galina is brilliant. She is patient and kind. She has instilled a huge love of sewing in my 13 year old who now sews in her own time as well as attending classes! Such a great skill and Galina is a great teacher!

This might be the most fun lesson i’ve done in person, you get to pick what you want to make, you get clear and well explained instructions on how to get your desired result and it’s so easy and entertaining to make friends here, i’ve met amazing people here at my first class, the teacher is so nice and friendly and i would 100% recommend coming here if you have an interest or like sewing & textiles!

My daughter has been taking classes with Galina for almost 2 years and loves it. The classes have covered a range of projects building up her sewing skills in a fun, creative environment.
For her 14th birthday she asked for her own sewing machine, which shows how much she enjoys it.

Absolutely brilliant course. My daughter loves every second of her lessons with Galina. She has been attending classes for 2 years and I am always so impressed with how much she learns, and how beautifully her garments turn out!

I always wanted to learn how to sew, but was nervous about cutting fabric wrong, and messing everything up
Then I met Galina:) I’ve been taking lessons from her for a year now. She is amazing - kind, patient, super-skilled and a beautiful person all around.
