Seventhwave Coffee & Tea reviews
39 Could be the best coffee in Sydney, it's not overdone with latte art or anything.
I'm caffeine sensitive and it's one of the only coffee that I can tolerate and not feel terrible.
The service is very nice even if you're just buying coffee, which is really the only thing they serve.
Some of the best coffee I've had anywhere. Amazing flavour profiles. Old school Italian style. Great toasties. Cool warehouse. Next to South Eveleigh tech Park Sydney's new "silicon suburb". What's not to love?
Super good coffee and really friendly staff. James is really knowledgeable about coffee as well!
As a home Espresso enthusiast I cannot praise the quality of their beans highly enough. Cafe is welcoming with great local feel. Be aware though, they close at 2.30 ish weekdays
THE FREE BISCUIT A NICE TOUCH. THE COFFEE TASTES GREAT AN THE STAFF WERE VERY NICE. BUT THEY CALL THIS A LARGE AND THEY HAD RUN OUT OF MILK I REQUESTED. DIDN’T SEE ANYTHING ON THE DINING SIDE OF THINGS. WAS HUNGRY AND HAPOY TO SOEND SOME MONEY BUT THEY MUST NOT WANT IT.
Great coffee, lots of milk choices and lots of speciality teas as well. They also have a great space sit and relax.
Hard to find a place that does both Coffee and tea deliciously to please all. This is the place. Highly recommend for any tea or coffee lovers, expertly made with available packaged tea and coffee to buy also.
As most say, a hidden gem in the heart of Redfern. If you love a variety of coffee and tea, this is the place. Many of my friends come here for the specialty coffee. James is passionate about coffee and tea and it shows! Also the place is dog friendly!
What a gem. Bit hidden and feels like you're part of a secret club if you go here.
James is a top bloke who is a customer service guy who just so happens to be a top tier roster.
James and team have refined the coffee process to an art and sandwiches are super tasty too. I agree with other comments, I've yet to find a better cup of coffee. Highly recommended!
Amazing roaster and cafe, they have a great selection of whole roasted beans. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful
As an Italian who appreciates coffee, I can confidently say: best coffee in Sydney. Large choice of single origin beans and great blends. But what is even better is the service: James and his staff (Tatiana is fantastic) are absolutely amazing, lovely people and always keen for a good chat and put a smile on your face. Really nice atmosphere if you have time to take your coffee at the table and great service even if you are after take away. This cafe is an absolute must if you are after some good coffee.
Great local coffee roaster with unique coffee flavours. Our fav take home bean, the 'New Guinea, Organic')
Amazing coffee, good food and lovely ambience
Right in the corner, away from the hustle of the station.
Indeed these guys are serious about their coffee.but how could they know their tea so well?
Strongly recommend their early grey.
Fantastic array of coffee, clearly run by someone who loves coffee.
Edit: in the years since writing this initial review, I've tried all the "best" coffee shops in Sydney and let me say, none of them even come close. Seventh wave has a whole range of coffees on offer, every one of them is distinct and a cut above what you could find elsewhere. If you love coffee, or even if you just want to learn more about what coffee can and should be, make this a destination.
Just discovered this roastery and it's a place serious coffee drinkers will appreciate. They serve great speciality coffee that you can enjoy on site. They also sell bags of beans for home brewing. Highly recommend a visit if you're in the area and need a caffeine hit.
The owner James knows his stuff. Very friendly and knowledgeable guy. He's passionate about coffee and is willing to share insights and knowledge with a guy like me who is exploring the world of espresso.
The espresso was velvety, with nice hints of chocolate at the end.
He is going to give me a demo of the aeropress next week.
Definitely a champ and if you are needing to someone to chat to about coffee, he's your guy.
Great local coffee roaster with unique coffee flavours. Our fav take home bean, the 'New Guinea, Organic')
The perfectly brewed cuppa is what you would expect from meticulous James, consistent magic.
I’ve stepped in on a day they had two cakes on offer. It’s too early for cake but life is short, this has turned my morning of tech hiccups into a sweet surprise.
