Sensory Gardens reviews
17A beautiful tranquilizer - A peaceful sanctuary for Pelicans and greeneries. Our family had a very peaceful and happy time together in this garden looking into the Pelicans in the lake and a beautiful flowers and the bush right by the lake.
A polite little message for Rod Coulits the gardens are maintained largely by The Entrance Lions Club volunteers with little help from the council these days, this is my opinion as a regular visitor whose Mum has a memorial tree in the garden, the gardens are immaculately maintained
Peaceful spot by the water with an easy walk around the garden with my elderly mum shade lots of shade, undercover areas seats a lovely find!
Might be more enjoyable to come in spring but still relaxing. Wild turkey did chase me which was funny be careful.
It's a great spot but it could use a bit of work. I respect the use of the memorials, but could do with a bit more actual garden and maintenance.
Extremely well maintained and enriched environment, it was easy to spend lots of time here, i will definitely be a regular visitor to this spot now!
Beautifully maintained and consistently kept clean. The Lions you meet in the gardens are always friendly. I’m very appreciative to the club for their hard work in maintaining the gardens. Thank you.
My late Grandma's favourite seat. She sat and watched my kids and I fishing in the kayaks. Great memories
Beautiful spot by the lake. Lots of beautiful native plants and flowers to look at, smell and touch.
Picnic tables to enjoy & full paths so accessible for everyone.
Photos are from March 2021 Flooding.
Nice shady spots for fishing here. Bream and snapper to catch. Very small garden with lots of memorial plaques. Beware the attacking bird
Relaxing little gardens on the shore of the entrance lake. It is a nice spot to take a break. There is a decent fish and chip shop nearby, plenty of parking and public toilets. Take your bike and go for a ride along the bike path.
Lovely area, well kept by the volunteers. Had my breakfast there as I cycled through on my round the world cycle trip
While pretty, it's a small circle of path that takes a minute to complete. There are seating and tables undercover but the mosquitos will eat you alive!
There is a little shop that sells a selection of fried seafood or chips.
Only reason it's getting 2 stars is because the lady that works in the canteen is very friendly and accommodating.
Great place for a picnic by the lake. A number of picnic tables under cover. A few good spots to throw a line in if you feel like fishing (although it would be nice if all the boaties/jet-skiers obeyed the 8 knot speed limit in the channel).
Really wonderful place to relax, unwind, and enjoy this great part of the world. It isn't nude friendly, which is a shame. There's also a nice fish and chip shop nearby, so keen yogis can have a chicken burger after finding nirvana. Highly recommended.
Love The Sensory Garden as my mother has a memorial tree here I highly recommend it to others & despite the constant traffic noise its very peaceful & calming with beautiful Tuggerah Lake views
A very favourite place of mine.the upkeep of the gardens is wonderful.thankyou LIONS for this space of peace & serenity,
