6 Experience the country style minutes away from town!
I attended a function in a short brake amidst the Covid19 about a year ago. The roast was mouth-watering. Fire pits were ON and blazing. The positive atmosphere created by the staff just added to the occasion.
Spiders or cows do not bother me when having a country experience.
To the contrary - this is what I expect.
What we loved:
⁃ Huge space inside. Never felt on top of each other
⁃ Dining table is great and the games are fun. Children had fun
⁃ Pool was nice
⁃ Grounds are lovely. Serene to look at and very country
⁃ Bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen are maintained nicely and felt homely
Some things we didn’t:
⁃ The cow smell or fertiliser smell was really quite horrible for first two days and meant a few didn’t wanted to venture outside.
⁃ Spiders! Everywhere. Webs everywhere, covering entire windows, through walking tracks, tennis court, one even joined us back to Sydney for the drive home! Very rustic but really should have been cleaned in advance or warned of in advance. Huge spider the palm of my hand in mother in laws room. In toilet etc everywhere. Takes a brave soul.
⁃ More expensive than the Park Hyatt hotel. It was peak time of the year but prices seemed designed to take advantage of travellers.
Overall a nice experience, we had a pleasant time and happy to be accommodated for the last minute booking!
EXCELLENT function centre. On property accommodation was great, with plenty of bedding for up to 20 guests. Service is very well catered. Owner and staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. We had a GREAT experience throughout our stay. Thank you Paula and Paula.
Very comfortable place, pool, heeps of space games room with pool table and tennis court.they even kept us stocked up with fire wood
Beautiful setting, perfect accommodation for families, lots of room inside and out. Spotlessly clean, all mod cons, games room with pool table and table tennis, swimming pool, tennis court, lovely gardens, bush walks, endless hours of fun and relaxation here! Can't wait to come back next time!
