If you want to be belittled by someone who has no idea of their own profession you're going to the right place.my remedy recommendations were apply vaso and a vibrator for pain and uppers to make me happy. Went to a holistic dr who told exactly the problem with in 3 days it's clear. Keep away from this fraudulent person

Absolute worst experience ever. Left feeling disrespected, uncomfortable, unheard, and beyond frustrated in what seemed like the quickest, most unhelpful 5 minutes of my life. Burst into tears as soon as I stepped foot out the door. Did not get charged for the appointment, however I would not have paid $200 for that nonsense regardless. My strong advice: steer clear and save yourself the misery.

Update: I made it clear that I was uncomfortable with the treatments “recommended”, but continued to aggressively promote them, even after I explained my negative experiences I’d already had with them. In the final seconds of my 5 minute appointment, two topical treatments that I had already been using for the past six months without any positive results were recommended. After six years of dealing with my issue, I wasn't fixated on any specific treatment; my GP recommended it considering all other options had not worked. Furthermore, my main area of concern was not even examined or looked at once, which my GP had said topical treatments wouldn't help. Regrettably, my overall impression of this individual is deeply unfavorable. I also encourage others to review their Google profile, as it is evident that my unfortunate experience is not an isolated incident.

It’s not often that I write a review but I felt it was necessary after my appointment today. I left feeling humiliated and did not feel like I was taken seriously or that my concerns were even heard. I was not charged for the appointment which was a positive, however, how I am treated is what stays with me the most and unfortunately I didn’t feel respected or heard.

Excellent Dermatologist! I attend regularly for skin cancer checks. Dr Shannon is very thorough - he actually saved my life. Highly recommended.

A serene medical practice that kept me calm but allowed me to ask questions & given options for my treatment & care.

I had a wonderful experience at this practice and my skin which was ruined by adult acne was treated and fixed within a very short amount of time (roughly 4 months) by Dr Shannon. The treatment I was put on was non aggressive and had little to no side effects.
The front desk staff and Dr Shannon are all kind, warm and extremely helpful!?

Other dermatologists had a waiting period of up to a year. SSD could fit me in within a few months even though I was a brand new client. Great service and always on time. My skin has never looked better.

Honestly a positive experience. Had to get some warts removed by a specialist when nothing else really worked. Dr. Shannon was very helpful and understanding; when the first thing that was tried wasn't effective enough (mine were pretty damn stubborn) he continued to explore other options and took the effort to keep track of the condition as it was progressing.
Would recommend a try after exhausting other options.

I waited almost a month to see Dr Shannon about my itching skin and scarring due to scratching skin off from unknown allergies. I confirmed my appt 48 hours before and turned down a shift at work because of my appt, then I was told less than 24 hours before my appt that they won't let me attend unless I have a visible rash.
My referral stated that I did not have a rash and my Dr referred me for additional help.
I was still turned away and told to go back to my GP. Would have been useful to know this upon booking my appt as I could have seen another specialist in this time.
Very disappointed.

Wish I had read the reviews! My son was told his skin looked awful, which is harsh on a teen in process with roaccutane for acne. Then offered an extraction process ‘for the same price and in keeping with what a facialist would offer’. With no skin preparation my sons face was attacked with a needle for 5 mins until it was streaming with blood, process over $80 please (on top of the consultation fee) Staggering! My son has had facials, they were refined and comfortable processes with better results and no unfeeling commentary.

I had a great experience at Second Skin Dermatology. Dr Shannon was understanding, helpful and explained everything in detail to me from my treatment to possible causes. His team at the clinic are friendly, helpful, and made me feel comfortable. I received a call mid-week to see how I was faring with the treatment plan I was given, which I appreciated. After struggling for 6 months with my skin issues, and clearing quickly with Dr Shannon’s treatments, I would recommend to anyone!

I am beyond annoyed. A 5 min consultation left with no solution and to be shifted off to someone else to deal with the problem. No resolution, no advice, just sorry i can't help you.

This doctor saw my elderly mother with me. He clearly did not want to treat her. He only spoke to me (not her) and actually said something has to take her out. He did not examine her apart from looking from a distance. It was a distressing process.

What a rip off, $180 for a 3 minute follow up appointment to get a prescription refilled. When questioning the price the nurse was quite rude. Don’t go here!

What a waste of money going to see Jack Shannon, I spent $200.00 dollars approximately on a consultation with him that lasted about 3 minutes.
Honestly he was no help at all, I could have got better advise from the chemist down the road,
Save your money his in a rush attitude is not worth paying for.

After a year of appointments and thousands spent I was turned away after treatment wasn't working. When "Dr Shannon" was told how my condition was affecting my mental health he bluntly told us to Never come back again. Jack is a rude and uncaring man with ZERO empathy. All the positive reviews are obviously written by staff themselves. As someone else said this place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. I can not stress enough to AVOID SECOND SKIN AT ALL COSTS

Dermatologist was unfriendly, unhelpful (giving nil advice) and arrogant and didn’t seem to have any care whatsoever, except for ending the appointment as soon as possible. I have to book in a second appointment now to get a second opinion. Receptionist and other staff were friendly though.

I had a great experience at Second Skin Dermatology, the staff are friendly and never had to wait longer than 5mins. Dr Shannon was very helpful and was able to get rid of my acne within a few months.
