I have a DAHUA NVR 4108-P-4KS2 security solution and as part of extending my log retention for home security video footage I have been looking into a NAS to allow the NVR to scale it's storage and also integrate it as part of my overall home secure storage solution. I searched online to see if there was any documentation on how this could be done, to which the journey lead me to directly contact DAHUA and then passed on to Seedan, Parramatta NSW, the local distributor for the DAHUA NVR in Sydney, Australia. I received a call at around 8: 30am and spoke to John from Seedan Parramatta, one of the technical specialist. He was courteous, supportive and knowledgeable and advised not only was the DAHUA NVR able to integrate with a NAS but recommend NAS and hard disc options to ensure optimal video recording. He spent time to detail the options on configuration and also offered to email instructions on not only the FTP set up on the NVR, but also NAS recommendations.
