Sea Acres Rainforest Centre reviews
17The Rainforest Centre has interesting souvenirs and rainforest information for visitors to check out. There is also a purpose built access path where you can walk through the rainforest. When you've finished your walk and feeling a little thirsty and famished, the Centre's kiosk will take care of that for you with their delicious goodies.
Coffee and cakes are always top notch! Such a lovely scenic place to have a meal or a snack. The nature walk is just perfect too - not too long, wheel chair/pram friendly with seats along the way and mostly shaded in summer.
Good customer service with very good ambiance. Recommended, prior book the table if you’re going on the weekend.
The Rainforest walk was a disappointment. We didn't see any animals even though it was announced. There are so many more beautiful forests in Australia.
Nice to walk around. Nothing too crazy. Not much wildlife to be seen. Have walked through better boardwalks before
Great place, grab a seat outside and get a spider (softdrink over ice cream) on a summer day.can't beat it.
Great spot. Such an amazing atmosphere walking through the rain forest. There are also lots of short but interesting information boards about the flora and history.
Staff super helpful.
The cafe is also really good for lunch if coffee
This is presented as a 3 star experience. Great; include this in your visit.
Easy accessibility, including wheelchairs and prams. Reasonable price. Neat store and cafe.
Easy grades on the boardwalk. Good interpretation. 1.4 km. Guided tours available; extended walks along the coast too.
Clean toilets.
This is a national park, no dogs.
Centre overpriced on everything. Staff disinterested and information very superficial. The coffee in the cafe was good but the tea was the most expensive anywhere.
Great cafe, yummy food. The rainforest walk is just beautiful and a very easy walk. Take your time and breathe in all the beauty of nature.
One of the best broadwalk I have done. It's long, educational, has a cafe, and only $20 for the whole family! My tambourine tree top broadwalk should be put to shame
A lovely short walk on high boardwalks. Well constructed. Gives a fantastic view of rainforest. We didn't see many animals but loved just being in nature and seeing the different trees.
Ordered some pasta for the baby and had to remind them twice, ending in the need to take it away! Other food was very nice though and apologetic for the error
Great shop, excellent for eco-friendly authentic Aussie souvenirs. Plus fantastic food, coffee and cakes with rainforest atmosphere. And the actual rainforest walk is unique! Must see activity when visiting Port Macquarie.
10$/ pers to see the forest. Even if it's pretty, you shouldn't have to pay for it
During our visit to Port Macquarie we visited this place. Such a peaceful place. I would love to go back again.
During our walk we got to meet Beautiful volunteer Mary Curtis who is an expertise about rainforest. We are soo glad we got to meet her and chat about the rainforest.
Such a beautiful walk inside the rainforest. So much to learn and see about different flora and fauna. Takes 30-40mins Max to finish. Free entry and plenty of free parking outside the centre.
Wish to come back soon
What a beautiful place, very peaceful & tranquil. Loved the cafe & walk afterwards.
