Sandon Point

From the point a view in every direction, over 200 degrees of ocean and west to the escarpment

Dog beach on the North-side and swimming beach to the South. Lifeguard station houses a little bar.

What a beautiful location! They even accept blow ins and love the tourist scene. Absolutely wonderful.

If you haven't been here, it's worth the trip. It's gorgeous, has some shade from trees, is a good place to BBQ, miles of cycle way, flags, and a pool and Cafe.

Great views, unrestricted parking, excellent spot to start a walk or bike ride along the coastal path to North Wollongong.
Note: Toilets are not the best or in the best location - better at Bulli Beach.

Sandon point Beach is unreal. First beach at the bottom of Bulli pass, good parking area, showers and patrolled with life guards. Very safe beach for swimming.

Awesome spot, decent diving in the right conditions. Outdoor cold showers in the carpark too which are handy.

Take your walking shoes its a bit of a exercise for the ankles. Deserving of a coffee & cake afterwards

So many of these great locations along our Illawarra coastline and very accessible. Having a great cycleway linking these places is a real bonus.

Great place for the little ones to learn how surf. There were flags up when we were there and was not packed later in the afternoon.

Great beach to spend a time with family. Good for kids who want to go the beach and have fun. Toilet and shower facilities nearby. It is a clean beach with lots of grass areas to set up a picnic. Its a good beach for a run after a swim. Plenty of parking around. It is also a dog friendly beach during certain times of the day.

Clean toilets. Not too crowded. Beautiful picnic area. And the kids could have stayed in the rock pools forever!

Beautiful spot to sit and view the escarpment and watch any surfers. There are great rock pools to explore and an easy walk down via the stairs. Another plus was the nearby Toilets at the SLS Block.

One of the best views of the rising sun on the Eadt coast of Australia. Seriously on par with the Southernest tip of Greece! From Sandon Point to Belambi the entire area is concidered Australian Aboriginalsacred Womens land.

Great spot for a picnic? Showers are available if you want to take a dip in the sea.
Dog friendly beach.

Look to the east at Sandon Point Bulli and see the sea. A great place for a picnic and various options can be found to be out of the wind. Look to the west and see the hills. A glorious place to visit and not commercialised as yet however no shade council needs to plant trees so visitors can hide from sun.

Lovely beach, surfing, surf life saving club, nice rock walk. Dog beach to the north of the point.

Awesome place to take the dog to the beach, or stroll the bike track, take a pubic, and relax on the hill, and enjoy the view.
