SAN Ultrasound for Women

Thank you Kathy and Dr Joyce for a very positive experience from start to finish.

I parked on p1.level 4 and it was a really quick to get to the clinic.

Had 5 ultrasound scans with this clinic, and had to wait 30 minutes to 1 hour in each of them. Our scans were never on time, which was disappointing.

I called this facility today to make a booking filor a early pregnancy scan that I got a referral for from my obgyn the lady called Judy made me feel terrible she refused to let me book a early pregnancy test. I ended up in tears and just told her to forget any booking. I ended up calling Sydney Ultrasound for Woman and they booked me in with no troubles.

I am sorry. We had high hopes. My wife had ultrasound more than a week ago. We just came from Anenatal care (RNSH) and the report was not sent to them even after 8 days. Second, you measured the height of my partner incorrectly. There was 2cm difference when RNSH midwife measured it today. I hope you improve your services soon.

It was my first time visiting the clinic today and I was very grateful for the care and understanding both the lovely front of house staff, nurses and sonographers displayed. Top technology. Highly recommend

Today we had a slight hiccup in our booking but the women at reception were lovely and were able to fit me in without complaints. The ladies who looked after me during my scans were an absolute delight. They held conversation, sense of humor and were very respectful. I do not go private unless necessary but in this case I'm so glad I came to San Ultrasound for Women. Made the process easy and less nerve racking. Thankyou team for having such beautiful personalities and communication skills. I may be back ;). Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and all the best:)

A lady was coughing all the time in waiting room area without face mask & non of the receptionist asked her to stay outside for other pregnant lady, s safety. They were not on time like other places I’ve been before, my appointment happened with. 45 min delay, Also the report was not accurate & my Dr was not happy with their radiologist’s report, I do not recommend this place for obs scan at all.

This clinic was recommended to me over a generic imaging company, and I’m glad I went. Although -possibly more expensive than some of the larger imaging chains, the $$ was worth it. All staff were friendly, both in the clinic itself and in the hospital (helping me check in and find the clinic etc.). Service was prompt, and the whole process was easy. I was listened to, and made to feel comfortable and respected. Medicare benefits were claimed on the spot. Parking was easy to find (my appt was in the morning, but the car park still has empty spots when I left). I will be returning for any and all follow-up scans I need.

They are rude irresponsible and untrustworthy.
They just have too many customer s thanks to Swaddle package and don't care about you

Had my morphology scan today and Sarah was absolutely wonderful. She made me feel comfortable, we even had a good laugh. For what can be a little bit of a nervous time waiting to see if bubs is healthy, her manner was just wonderful.
The other staff at the hospital and department were also lovely, happy to help with directions, friendly and approachable.

Good experience. The sonographer I had was Sarah and she made me feel very comfortable and she was outstanding. The only criticism I would make is that no one answered the phone when I called a few times to make a booking and to confirm my appointment.

Had a HyCoSy test there today for my reoccurring miscarriages. They ran maybe 15mins late so not too bad. Sono Nurse and doctor were amazing, very gentle and talked through everything. Procedure was pain-free (more so than a std smear test) and they told me of any findings there and then. Recommend.

Very rude receptionist. She did not have a name tag but she was slightly over weight, hair tied back, working at 12;15 pm On Friday the 22nd, dark blonde hair. Poor training and very condescending. If you want a pleasant experience during your pregnancy this is not the place to go.

I had a great experience with both Sarah and Dr Karen Mizia. This Hycosy ultrasound did not make me any pain or unwell under their technical skills with careful job. It is so nice of them and nice talking with them too. Appreciated their help!

What a team! Excellency from reception to practitioner. I had the great fortune to be seen by Sarah. Her care and knowledge was outstanding. I highly recommend their caring spirit and services. The entire team is, without a doubt, an inspirational model. Many, many thanks.

After having an inconclusive NIPT test at SUFW we decided to come to the SAN ultrasound for woman to do a CVS test. Honestly, this was the best decision that we could have made as the care and kindness we received from our Sonographer, Doctor and the reception staff today was nothing less than amazing. They made such a stressful time so much more bearable and were so comforting the whole way through. We left feeling so much more informed and prepared. I can’t thank or recommend them enough. Thank you so much.

Both my visits here have been a positive experience. The technicians and Drs have the most caring and reassuring 'bedside' manner. I would like to commend them on their approach which is both compassionate and upbeat. Undergoing any scan or procedure can be a very worrying and stressful time, it is great to feel supported, personally and professionally, by the staff at SAN U/S for W.

Great facility and staff members, however had multiple instances where we waited an hour past our appointment time. It's a 5 star if the time management gets better. Thanks.

I've always had a good experience here. I've been here many times for my two pregnancies and have found the sonographers and drs very thorough, informative and friendly. I've dropped one star because I have found a couple of times the reception staff to be curt/blunt but not rude - so room for improvement there.

I see some pretty negative reviews below and I understand the frustration of waiting, but I think there should be a common understanding that at an ultrasound clinic, most procedures revolve around a baby's cooperation/placement and thus is really unpredictable. There's really no way of telling if they are going to take 5 minutes or a couple of hours. So while annoying for the people waiting (I've been there), having some understanding of why they can't really "let you know how late they are running" could help.

I had Catherine to look after me today, she was very professional and knowledgeable. She definitely went above and beyond to explain the process and educate me throughout the process.
I’d another ultrasound 2 months ago at Eastwood, they were quick, no waiting time, BUT! I was told to have problems that I actually don’t have.
Yes, you might need to wait for a little longer in this clinic but they are taking extra steps to make sure that you are ok. Thank you
