San Churro

Pretty chill place for coffee and desserts. Churros are very filling but not as tasty as expected. Staff is friendly but no really trained on customer service. Some deep cleaning wouldn't hurt. Especially windows. Most of the staff staying behind the counter at multiple times there was only one member doing cleaning on floor without any help. Great location however speed of service needs improvement too.

Every single time i come here, the customer service is appalling and extremely slow and reminds me of why i never want to come back.the staff look like they have no idea what they’re doing and could care less about being there.absolutely shocking and will not be returning.

The San Curto chocolate mousse cake was to die for. Rich & decadent. Generous Slices. I shared a slice & it was more than enough.

The portion size of the familla fondu is really poor value. 7 strawberries, a handful of pretzels and 8 bite size churros. Offering two bowls of chocolate is a nice touch, unfortunately the second went to waste. There wasn’t enough to did. As a positive the kids loved it as a special birthday treat.

Our hot chocolate was really yummy. Service was great but a little slow. Still will come back as we love the atmosphere and the staff is friendly.

Always love coming to this place, food is always incredible and the staff are always so welcoming. Special shout-out to Sameiko for providing such great service to me and my friends! Girl is killing it!

Service was just TERRIBLE. Grabbed three drinks today for the family. Waited 40 mins because two two young female staff giggling and messing around instead of working. Drinks when arrived were warm (ordered iced drinks) and awful! The place filled up and no one was being served their items. Shocking! Honestly, would have had better service and food at Maccas!

Niamh made me the best coffee legit drop dead amazing I normally have to go to a doughnut king but she really out did herself would recommend Sam churro to anyone and everyone as long as you have her making the coffees

This San churro place has gotten a lot better. Used to have rude staff and extremely slow service. Glad something has changed. Staff were friendly tonight and my food came out in under 15 minutes.

Disgusted! Several months ago, I visited this store with a group of girlfriends. The service was very poor, time of service very slow, and tables filthy. We put it down to a busy night, even though there were hardly any people in there at this time, there were used cups, plates, etc all over the place.
So, this evening, a family member wanted our party of 6 to go here for churros and drinks as a dessert for a birthday outing. It was NOT busy, yet there were at least 8 tables covered in dirty cups, plates, etc. There was rubbish on floors and a really grubby feel overall. After some deliberation, we chose a table that seemed the best option, yet there were greasy smears and squashed strawberries on the table and under chairs. We ordered the 18 churros/6 dips (with cream), 2 Frescas, 1 smoothie, a bottle of water and a bottle of coke using the QR code ordering app. We waited about 15-20 mins before the churros came out, minus the whipped cream we had paid for. The churros were OK but much smaller than lead to believe from all the promotional pics. We then waited at least another 20 mins before the smoothie and 2 Frescas came out. This service was far too slow. It seemed they could make these drinks but completely forgot about the bottles of water and coke. We gave them a few more minutes to give them the opportunity to realise they had missed some of our order, but no recognition at all. So I approached the counter and stated that we were waiting on the two drinks, but that we only wanted the bottle of water now and I would like a refund on the coke and the cream I had paid for that hadn't come. At that point the young girl toddled off to get the manager, Paige, who really didn't offer any real apology for the situation. Happily refunded me, leaning all over the register. Customer service really is apalling. I reminded about wanting the bottle of water, and also suggested that she get someone to clean some tables as it was really grubby out on the floor and tables. This was met with an apathetic comment of recognition. In the hour that we were in this store, we did not see any tables or surfaces cleaned. It was not very busy with only 3-5 tables occupied (including us). Staff did not know table numbers and were wandering around aimlessly with customer's orders. Whilst waiting at the counter for my refund on 2 items, I observed a lack of urgency of staff, grubby, smeared, greasy surfaces all over the counters. The whole experience was really not up to a healthy, clean state that you would expect from a food outlet. Very poor form. Then I get on this forum to leave a review, which I never do, but was so incensed by this experience, only to find this is a common theme.slow service; apathetic, young staff disinterested in proper customer service; filthy premises; and apathetic young manager who obviously has no skills in actually managing a team in hospitality.
In addition, I have read the responses by the owner to poor reviews and they all read the same. They will 'take it back to the team'. It seems the message isn't getting through to the team if they are demonstrating the same poor standards months later. This is very poor business management.

Disappointing of late, since new owners, the staff have changed, no one really looks interested, I don't mean that they are not friendly but just don't appear happy. Quality of product is still good, but when you go in for the service and staff and you leave feeling like your just another dollar in the till it is quiet disheartening, it use to be a place where staff remembered you, not any more, it is unfortunate.

Awfully slow service - took 15 minutes for 2 coffees with 2 other customers waiting for orders. Coffee wasn't great either - 'cappuccino' came without froth. Not sure what has happened, this place used to be great 5 years ago. Too many bad experiences here lately, not worth coming here again.

Niamh and her team provided friendly, helpful and efficient service. Tables were clean they showed initiative to fulfil some trickery orders. Coffee was beautifully made. Great night ;)

Great ambience, lovely location and great staff. Ordered the churros and coffees, great service, great portions and quality! Would recommend.

Great place for a rest after shopping with great churro and drinks with friendly and helpful staff.

A nice fit out and interior and relaxed environment. Shame about the coffee though. Not yet had a decent coffee - maybe it's the coffee or soy milk used?
