In my experience, the team at Samidesign go above and beyond when it comes to service. Sam the owner is attentive & listens well, & he is responsive & does his best to accommodate to our requirements. It's easy to tell that Sam loves architecture & loves to deliver well thought out & excellent designs.

We were looking to do either an addition or extension on our home to meet the needs of our growing family. But we also wanted a sustainable design for the sake of improved thermal comfort, better internal air quality, lower water and energy usage, and to be responsible in this age of climate change.

After talking with a few designers for whom sustainable design was an afterthought, we found Sami Design whom stood well above the rest. Sam Gohari and Jamileh Jahangiri came up with a unique concept that showed their understanding of sustainable building practices like Solar Passive Design and Passive House principles, as well as considering the embodied energy of the materials. During the difficult COVID lockdowns of 2021, we went back and forth via email and video calls to polish up the layout and positioning - And the resulting DA plans from that are amazing.

Sam and Mitra also did an amazing job organising the DA lodgement - liaising with external consultants (engineers, BASIX assessors, town planners, etc.) to get all the necessary reports and certificates required for the DA - and at the best price.
Currently the DA has been lodged with the council, and all the correspondence with them so far about the project has been positive.

Sam & his associates are very helpful in their knowledge and amazing and practical designs. Cannot recommend them enough. Would not use any other architect.

In 2013 when I and my wife made a design to do renovation our house, we were selected Sam as our designer and contractor to do this job. After 3 months it was incredible! He planed and did our dreams. Every item was changed as we loved. Floor, walls, lighting, kitchen, painting.wallpaper, piping and many things more. Great designs, Sam is a high end Designer Architect, I would recommend to those who appreciate the new ideas.

Its very interesting journey with this semi guy & luckly i have finalise them for my small residnetial project by sitting overseas. Initially stages i had companies who offered me less money for the job but after talking to sam i felt this is the guy i am after for my build job explain my vision & stuff. He has always been patient & helpful in making alterations till the time i am satisfied. He is straight forward person which i liked as i have ask him few stuff in construction as doing owner builder which is not his job which is out of box but he said always will help you out as i am trying to learn the things thoroughly. Though plans done land havent even register but he has always open his hands for any help! Very professional & creative not just building square houses. I am sure will be doing lot in future with this guy in terms of real estate& development. In nutshel Sam is man for designs, concepts woo factor in the budget frame work & he will tell you when you doing something silly.

From the first time I spoke to Sam he was willing to listen and adjust his operating model to suit my needs. I had a terrible experience with the draftsman before I engaged Sami Design. Nicola was extremely professional and thorough both with the site audit and the drawings asked to be completed. Even a change that was requested was promptly responded to.
