Saddles Garden Centre reviews
76Been there quite a few times.wow, just wow. This is how you do EVERYTHING properly. Yes a LOT of money has been spent on the facility the place is a faultless build. But the staff, that's what makes a quality stop over. So refreshing, it like visiting a home of good mates. Thank you.
This amazing & gastronomic hideaway never ceases to amaze, an absolute delight to let the taste buds run wild & relax whilst pampered by the most discerning, dedicated team ensuring you leave with an extraordinary experience of complete satisfaction.
We love & adore everything about this sensational paradise. You must try.
Only open for breakfast and lunch this is a nice find. I had been told about this place some time ago and we met our friend for morning breakfast. Beautiful atmosphere with an outlook of the pond, food has great originality with the taste and the service was fantastic.
We came here earlier in the year and the food was amazing and ample. This time the food was good but the portions were so small. We ordered the 'duck breast' and got 2 round pieces of meat. The side for 4 was a handful of green beans. Very disappointed.
Missed the bbq chicken from last year.not on menu? But happy with beef brisket pie and market, as well as the prawn appetizers. Great location for lunch.although be prepared for flies if sitting out on the deck in summer.
I was disappointed with the limited menu choice. The service was very ordinary - the staff were not attentive and didn't seem to care.
Overall, I was disappointed given the decline in quality from my last visit
Always love going here. Just such a lovely place to visit.the restaurant by the lake, the ducks, the food and service.everything is just awesome. The kiosk serves freshly made pies and dessert.
Beautiful restaurant by a man made lake. Nice for a quick pre or post meal stroll. Very peaceful out here. Love the saddle stools at the bar - would love to sit here one day! Lovely decor and atmosphere! Felt like I was on holiday. Food was well cooked and tasty, not huge portions, just enough - so you won't be rolling out here in a food coma.
Hubby and I found this hidden gem on a drive up from Sydney to Central Coast - and so glad we did! Beautifully designed restaurant amidst serene garden landscape. Customer service was top-notch from being able to squeeze us in without a booking to friendly and attentive waiting throughout our meal. Finally, the food was incredible. I had the vegetable tempura, which was packed with flavour in a decent sized portion. Hubby had the beef pie that was soo good and filling. Really enjoyed our little stop here and would definitely return!
Saddles is a beautiful restaurant situated in luscious and clearly lovingly maintained grounds overlooking a beautiful lake with black swans.
The breakfast options were diverse and delicious. Generously proportioned for about $18-24 price range.
The service was highly organised, with the lovely staff taking our orders and remembering who had ordered what when delivering to our table!
A beautiful stop on the way from Sydney to the Hunter Valley - highly recommend
I only stopped here briefly on a road trip but I bought a loaf of their sourdough and it was incredible. I hope I can go back for food!
Dropped by late on a Fri whilst heading north. Coffee and cake was perfection. Lovely service, beautiful surroundings and delicious cake.
Brilliant setting, professional staff, small but tasty dishes. Very laid back for long lunch or breakfast pig-out!
I attended with a friend and our 11 month old babies. Staff were fantastic with our babies and they were so accommodating with our dietary restrictions.
The food was really nice. I ordered the kingfish, not something I'd normally eat, but I was pleasantly surprised.
Food was great and the view was pretty good though the weather wasn't the best. I bet it'd be awesome if I come back on a sunny day. We went there for lunch and ordered lots of foods. Vegetable tempura, kangaroo skewers and pies were really good.
Absolutely loved the vibes of this place! Super quaint with lovely decor.
The downside was the food. The meats were super gamey and under seasoned. Prices were quite steep for the portion sizes. Pie was a little soggy. Would definitely recommend to come for a drink but maybe not the food again:)
I have been to Saddles quite a few times and love the atmosphere of the water.
I do think it's time for a new menu or perhaps introduce a few more additions.
The staff and food are lovely.
Wow. Five star restaurant with the rustic saddlery touch! Attentive waiter and scrumptious food! Saddles at the bar instead of seats! Fantastic! Going back asap.yes!
Beautiful location, friendly and helpful service.
However the food was a bit underwhelming in flavour as well as portions. Not bad, just not quite aligned with the price.
Recommended for brunch, going back to check out lunch as it's not open for dinner. The staff are excellent and a table on the balcony overlooking the Dam is a delight.
