Rydges Parramatta

Rydges parramatta has been our go to hotel for staying in sydney multiple times a year, however after our last experience we will not be back and don’t recommend staying here

our fridge was empty, no soap provided for washing hands in the bathroom, one light switch was not working, shower leaked onto the outside bathroom floor

however the main issue was now the parking, all times when we have stayed here it has been free complimentary with your stay, this time around our booking online still claimed this was true, however we were surprised with pay parking ontop of an already pretty pricey hotel stay, and staff were not willing to honour the free parking statement because “its clearly labeled on the entry”, however last time we came the signage was the same, with boom gates working yet we did not pay a cent, $40 a day unless you setup a $20 a day thing, which becomes very expensive when your group has 4 cars staying for multiple days

we have now happily cancelled our next stays and found somewhere better

We enjoyed staying at Rydges Parramatta.
We have stayed here several times when we are going to see concerts at Olympic Park or visit family in the area. They treat all their customers fairly and respectfully and go above and beyond for their regulars. They recently upgraded us to their penthouse suite for our anniversary. Highly recommend this hotel.

The service in the restaurant was terrible. The food was lovely, but the service was terrible.

Loved staying here. Rooms were very clean, bed was comfy, and staff were friendly and helpful.

The room windows whistled constantly from the outside due to not being able to close fully, resulting in very poor sleep.

Able to get in at last minute. However the pool and spa were cold and the heater in room hardly making room warm on a winter night for our anniversary was a bit disappointing. Second time we’ve stayed here.

Disappointingly these guys are behoven to the atillas at Rosehill. No thought at all for making there own decisions. They are the world we live in. Controls, regulation, status quo of manipulative sheep. No balls to make a call!

Because Michelle is a genuine bar tender and most the staff are like my family cus I stir them up and respect me from day dot xo

We checked in the disabled room and it was very comfortable, the staff were very helpful, it's very near to everything. I recommend this place.

Staff were flawless and very friendly! The whole place was very clean. The spa and pool were fantastic. I loved the little touches, like music in the elevator and led lights behind the tv. Would definitely stay again. The only downside was that the room air conditioning was loud, but a minor flaw.

Enjoyed our stay, friendly staff and food was great, although a little expensive. Only complaint was the rudeness of the bar staff in the tab area

Spent three nights here and within 5 minutes caucasian receptionist (apologies for not remembering her name) was so friendly and tended to all of my needs. Thank you so much!

I had a great stay here at Rydges Parramatta. The location of this hotel is very nice as it was nearby restaurants and public transit. The room were all clean and well maintained.

It was really accessible. The place is great it makes me feel at home. The staffs were very friendly. I will definitely go back to this place.

Room was great and beautiful but the customer service at the desk was hopeless. No smile at the face and not even any greeting. I have stayed in most of the hotels in Australia and overseas and Rydges was the worst and only bad experience I had in customer service desk. Not happy.

We’ve been staying here every holiday in Sydney in the last two years. Pleasant stay, clean and spacious rooms, up to date facilities and friendly staff.

Rooms spacious and clean. Not a bad price for sydney. Spa and turkish sauna worked. Would have been good if normal sauna worked. Little traffic noise through window but definately had worse. Food very good but pricey.

The staff was really friendly when accommodating me and my family and even gave us two complimentary beverage coupons. Though location is not great it's still a great place to stay!
