I think this is the most rude company I called. I was having major anxiety about our light already, i just want to have it fix straight away, the lady on the phone was so unkind when I did not want to give out my email, instead of explaining to me why she needs my email…she then proceeded with “ok you dont want to give your email, thanks bye”

How rude!

Service was prompt, very pleasant tradesman, explained everything he was going to do. Would refer the company to friends.

Drops junk/advertising mail into letterboxes (marked no advertisements) designed to look like a handwritten letter.

If you get a letter without a stamp that has "From Michael, " on the front, just dump it.

Service and expertise are excellent. Communication is good.
Sam and Liam are polite and professional. It was a pleasure doing business. Will definitely request Ruttley's services for future plumbing and electrical problems/projects.

Ruttley sent me a huge fridge magnet in a plastic sleeve*. Both these materials are not recyclable and I do not appreciate receiving marketing materials like this.

The fridge magnet was glued to a paper card in transparent plastic. It has the same name and image on the magnet as the one on this review page.

Firstly, I’d like to say that the plumber that attended was extremely polite, well presented, courteous and was even happy to wait when he arrived earlier than the quoted time for me to get home.

During home renovations we had inadvertently put a screw through the existing plumbing when fixing the vanity to the wall.

My husband had exposed the pipe and the offending screw prior to their arrival. It required the portion of pipe to be removed and a small piece inserted- 2 cuts and 2 crimps. There was no opening of gyprock or crawling under the house.

He was efficient and the job took ~ 15 min. I was so sad when I had to hand over $520. The realisation that I had worked a full day before to pay. The quote was discussed with me before hand, we had been unsuccessful in securing our usual plumber and with the weekend pending, and a wet ceiling, I was keen to have it fixed.

Unfortunately, we just can’t afford their services in the future and will hopefully return to our usual plumber.

It was so easy dealing with Ruttleys and the people were professional and friendly. Would definitely use them again for all future work

The company I hired was unprofessional and went missing after accepting the job. Despite attending the site, they disappeared without providing a quote or follow-up emails, and failed to return my calls or emails. Their lack of communication and failure to follow through has forced me to find a new company and start the process again, wasting my time and causing frustration.

Brilliant service, getting everything I needed done efficiently with utmost honesty.

They were prompt and provided excellent service. Explained about wiring issues. Tradesmen were also affable.

Great service, prompt response and very knowledgeable professionals. Have no issues at all with the work done but unfortunately found to be really expensive for changing a power socket and power cable to our electric oven. Would use Ruttley Services again if the price was a little cheaper.

Doesn’t respect no junk mail stickers, also claims to be northern beaches when based in Chatswood.

Paid $2.5k for a dishwasher install, a hole in the slab and some terminated pipes. Then they tell me they will "do it as a favour" and given me a "discount". Just getting another plumber to finish off the job.

Continuous water flow heater was broken in the morning. Call this company number, a technician came giving a quote of $3000 (include new hot water flow heater installation + labour + disposal). I said it was a bit expensive as the new unit only cost app $1000. Asked the technician about the price and he started being a big pushy saying they only have one unit left and if I could not get this fix I will have no hot water tonight (which I understood the risk). I later called the company hotline asking about the price and they said this was the right price. Luckily I made multiple phone call to local plumbers. One of them come at lunch time and install a unit for us in the afternoon with app $2200. $800 less in cost.

Post edited on 16/12/2022 and Reply to Michael Ruttley: Correct quote updated and I upload the photo of your quote: The quote (for a 20L Heater) was $800 (not $1200) higher than other quote we paid (26L Heater). Also why you post our personal address with Unit number/street name and full name publicly? If you try to threaten people I already screen-cap this and if me or my family received any threats or harassment I need to refer to this.
