Royal Motor Yacht Club Broken Bay

Couldn’t have asked for a better location to host our engagement party! The venue looked amazing and we couldn’t stop getting compliments on how great the location was. The staff were so lovely and accommodated to our every need. Food and drinks were great and it was such an affordable venue. Overall we were so impressed and so grateful to hold our special celebration at the Royal motor yacht club!

We ordered the beef cheeks and slow cooked lamb, both were absolutely tasteless. Couldn’t believe it!

Following previous chefs ridiculous pricing all good again now. I have been going most Sundays for past 8 years and couldn’t believe a steak sandwich was $38 after discount and yesterday down to $27. I know a few people who like me were there every Sunday, don’t come anymore. You need to send an email out and to get them back indicate that prices are now back down where they should be, otherwise if they don’t know they won’t come back. Trying to be positive because I love the place, just think you need to do something to win them back.
Only about 3 tables last sunday week in dining room, yesterday about 6, better but not like it used to be.

Utterly atrocious management named ‘Andrew’. Fired a young cheerful young lady for “talking to customers while serving coffee”. She was one of only girl working the floor while the rest were who knows where. Management did not attempt to help her but ended up firing her INFRONT OF THE WHOLE RESTAURANT. Utterly outrageous and this man does not deserve to manage workers.totally cruel.

Great service, fantastic staff, we had a good 2 days on the Marina. Nothing was too hard for them.

Have just attended a wake at RMYC and I cannot say how wonderful it was. Shannon went absolutely above & beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. My coeliac daughter was catered for in the blink of an eye and she was exceptional tending to everybody. Hopefully back there under better circumstances next time though! (o:

The server and witresses I had were great the young girl was so helpful I cannot even thankj enough, although the manager was rude to us and the food was TERRIBLE, i came home with food poison from the meal. It woyld be one star if it wasnt for the server.

The worst food I have eaten in the northern beaches, the burger was disgustingly dry (eaten on the 16.03.2023), the food prices are ridiculous, more expensive than a fancy restaurant at Palm Beach, save your self the below average experience and food, eat anywhere else but here. Terrible.

Terrible food. Staff are dreadful and whatever you do Don't complain it! They are precious with their feelings.

We love this place. Great food staff atmosphere and facilities. Just had pizzas and the grand children are enjoying the wonderful pool. This place is one of the great joys of living in newport.

Food was so average so therefore, overpriced! Sizzling garlic garlic prawns $28 for 6 small prawns in a small pot of garlic oil and a small salad on the side served with tomato sauce!?
dry steak sandwiches and a below average nachos.

What a venue. Staff are lovely and the food was fantastic. Wish I lived closer, it's a stellar venue!

It's got the lot, atmosphere, great food, exceptional staff, community service, provide concerts for members, free bus transport, couldn't ask for more, friends and family love meeting up there, we're so lucky

We were desperate for a cuppa! Spotted their regal sign and pulled in. I tiptoed in to do a reconnaissance and was informed warmly that we could have (free) membership for a day and enjoy their lovely cafe.

Had a great catch up with mates down there Friday, good venue for Lunch and beers, but please nothing worse than ordering a medium
rare steak and getting it well and truly over done, three of us orded steak and all the same, it's not that Hard.

Beautiful Clubhouse. At the function the food was good, staff were incredible. Friendly and helpful.
View was phenomenal.

Great club, perfect for people who want a quick bite to eat before heading out to sail the seas.
