10Called in for lunch while passing through Nimmitabel. Bacon and egg roll were delish but best of all, PROPER English breakfast tea with real tea leaves and tea pot. No Twinings teabag in a mug here! Best cuppa I've had since arriving in NSW. Friendly service with a smile and very affordable. Sit outside in the sun or inside next to an open fire in the colder months. Rustic old hotel, superb character. Easy carparking.
The generous and gracious hospitality provided by Di and Grant was a key element in the success of our recent Peters' family gathering at Nimmitabel. Two families were comfortably accommodated across the two suites, enriched with period features. Grant effortlessly (so it seemed) provided a delicious Indian theme dinner for 15, held in the historic dining room. Di and Grant indulged our endless reminiscing!
I particularly appreciated the flexibility in being able to bring family (who were staying elsewhere) together for breakfast, with cooked breakfast option. Plus admired Grant's skill in catering to the needs of 2 year old twins!
Thanks again Di and Grant
Stopped at the cafe. Fantastic service by the lovely man. We had a great chat and he makes a wonderful coffee. Scones were a perfect afternoon snack as well!
Fantastic very comfy beds nice fire all the things needed fantastic hosts would not hesitate to stay again good value for money
The tea was perfect and the owner is friendly and cheerful. Definitely the best coffee shop in Australia. Worth the visit
The room we stayed in was spacious, comfortable, clean and affordable. The food was absolutely great. The hosts, Di and Grant, were super helpful. The Royal Arms is a hidden gem.
The Royal Arms B&B was like a home away from home. It was warm and cosy with a very comfy bed and ensuite and a lovely coffee and hot breakfast in the morning. The Walkers were so welcoming and helpful throughout my stay - I am looking forward to my next visit already.
Sundowner Cafe is amazing. Friendly service, delicious food and coffee was fantastic. We had scones and ham/cheese bagel and could not fault either dish. Even the water they serve is delicious.
The hospitality at the historic royal arms is a warm sanctuary in the chilly nimmitabel climate
