Rough Edges reviews
10This is by far the most important place in Sydney city for feeding and caring for those less fortunate or doing it rough and tough. The food/meals provided are of restaurant quality EVERY MEAL & EVERY DAY. I honestly would prefer to eat her and give a donation for the meal than pay a restaurant extravagant prices for food that's no where near the food/meals from Rough Edges! Love the staff/volunteers also so respectful and compassionate
Thank you for a lovely christmas thank you for feeding us thank you to all the lovely staff for giving up your time to feed us all#
I went to Roughies for a Free Lunch served on Wed & Fri, 12 Noon- 2pm, Supplied by Oz Harvest.
Roughies serves quite a number of hot lunches pre-prepared with accompanying rice or pasta. Wayne, the Social Worker made sure he spoke with everyone who attended today. It was very kind of Wayne.
I got told there was a free xmas lunch but no they charged u so me n my friends had to go without for xmas! Unhappy
Good place with charity for poor and needy. Wednesdays and Fridays, free lunch and dinner for the needy.
God bless.
Been assisting me with free meals and even invited me then for possible recipient of their 2019 Christmas Hamper. I thanked God and Them for that. I find it divine in those benevolent Act.
Love, Compassion & Charity does begin at our front doors. To witness & experience the privilege of meeting and being seated alongside my other family of mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters & grandparents & neighbours to share, engage in respectful conversation will remain the overwhelming factor of believing love abounds in us all and positive actions are a greater measure of Love, Hope, Charity, Respect & Faith in All Kind. Hats off to the amazing Staff and Volunteers who's hearts are full of compassion. God Bless you all.
GREAT place for Battlers basically.
Many homeless are in here and tempers occasionally flair. Supported by StJohns Church alongside.
Absolutely brilliant place for the homeless as it is somewhere for them to socialise, gain assistance and support, and have a free meal and coffee. However - backpackers really need to realise that Rough Edges exists to help struggling/homeless AUSTRALIANS! People HOLIDAYING overseas are supposed to be able to support themselves whilst abroad! Stop using up services that are for homeless AUSTRALIANS!
