I Honestly don't really have much to say other than I was impressed with the turn around of this company I went in a few months back to order doors and a large quantity of windows and was not keen on how the factory was with workers standing around I left my details and no one called me back but then 3 weeks ago I decided to go back and see if I can talk to a manager as I needed a large quantity of windows for a heritage house I have purchased in Marrickville. I was greeted by Libby and her partner Damien and they were both forthcoming with information and apologies we discussed my need for certain windows and settled on a quote. Damien came straight out to do a check measure and production started unfortunately my builders damaged another 2 windows by mistake so I called Damien to get a price on the added windows and he has kindly not charged me for these windows. Libby has been able to keep email communication open and nearly all my windows are completed and partially installed. I can understand how some people have been frustrated and not received a good service but it appears this company is turning things around and needs a break Please contact Libby or Damien they will be extremely helpful if given the opportunity.

PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU HAVE HAD ISSUES WITH THESE PEOPLE LODGE A COMPLAINT WITH NSW FAIR TRADING AND TAKE THEM TO THE TRIBUNAL. IT IS A SIMPLE PROCESS WHERE YOU CAN GET YOUR MONEY BACK.

These are the dodgiest people ever! Very quick to take your deposit and then never follow through with any goods. Worst customer service ever. Tried to call them 50 times.no one ever calls back. Have lodged complaint with NSW Fair Trading - apparently there's quite a few complaints already in the system. Do NOT waste your money with these idiots!

NB: Please be aware that the sparkling review from DAVID OLDFIELD is actually from a relative of the owner Libby Oldfield.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY DONT PAY THERE BILLS, THEY TAKE CUSTOMERS MONEY IN ADVANCE, BUT NEVER PAY THERE SUPPLIERS.

THEY ARE THE BIGGEST SHONKS EVER PUT ON THE EARTH, WE HAVE BEEN CHASING THEM FOR OVER 6 MONTHS FOR A SMALL BILL OF $500. THEY DONT ANSWER CALLS AND WHEN THEY DO THEY SAY I HAVE PAID BUT WILL NOT SEND REMITANCE.

Quality and service was extremely poor. I would advise people avoid this firm at all cost. We were forced to pay in full for the product prior to delivery so there was not much recourse once they had delivered. It cost us a small fortune to have our builders alter the windows as Roseville Joinery had not followed the measurements provided and there was multiple design faults. Has been a couple of months now since we have had the windows and the movement and general quality is extremely disappointing. Save yourself a lot of money and the headache of dealing with these people and find another place to source your windows or any other product this company provides.

Well after reading a majority of the reviews I was hesitant in using this company, however after meeting with the new Directors Damien and Libby my concerns we put at ease and I decided to discuss my project with them. I have purchased a heritage listed house in the Mosman area and struggled With finding a company who can restore or re create the original windows and doors for the house and so I came across Roseville Joinery and while the reviews put me off I needed to speak with them as my renovation needs experienced tradesman and someone who cherishes the heritage side of windows and doors. I discussed my project and had them attend my site and while Damien is not you average wearing business suit he knows his stuff and was straight up with me its a 2 story with basement level house and so far 8 weeks in I have visited the new premises at penrith and see the production of the bottom level.we aimed at a 24 week turn around and 8 weeks in we are on track. Sometimes you just have to go with your instinct and not what you read Libby has been extremely helpful in having documents and questions ready at hand the company is headed in a new direction and I'm looking forward to posting some pictures for them on completion.

Roseville joinery is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I am a builder and ordered a simple door with glass in it. 8 weeks later after about 70 phone calls I had to drive to Penrith to pick up the door. To find the door with no glass and no beads. They send out glazier the next day and left the glass and a tube of silicon. Not installing the glass at all. I had to pay a further $350 for a glazier to install glass. Damien has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. This company is going no where fast.
NEVER USE THEM!

Absolute joke. Michael is rude and arrogant. Promised an order before Christmas but never came. The order was wrong might I add he then decided to charge me for his mistake. Overpriced but was assured the order would be done before Christmas. Run for for the hills with this mob.

Roseville Joinery finally delivers – After more than 16 months.

The experience was horrific.

It took:
* More than 65 weeks to deliver a 5 week order
* Dozens of visits to their workshop/showroom
* More than 100 e-mails and text messages
* Intervention by “Fair Trading”

I will not be doing business with Roseville Joinery again.

October 2018

-

On the 19th of May 2017, I paid Roseville Joinery a 50% deposit of $18,312 for the supply and delivery of 7 windows and a set of bi-fold doors.

Contract documentation was scant. A five-week delivery period was verbally offered but not documented.

Several days after signing the contract they rang to say they had underquoted me by $6,000. I attended their premises and agreed that the contract be amended and paid them a further $3,000 deposit as an act of good faith. (More fool me).

After many telephone “follow ups” and personal visits to the workshop, I received the “shop drawings” on the 6th July 2017.

I approved of the shop drawings on the 9th July and notified details of the glass colors on the 17th July, (after a visit to, the glass supplier).

In early August I was advised that the four (4) upper floor windows would be delivered on 4th August 2017, upon payment of a progress payment of $6000. I promptly paid the progress payment on the 4th, (Again – more fool me), after which I was advised that the delivery would not occur until the following week and that the frames would be delivered on Tuesday 8th, with the sashes and glass to follow the following day.

The frames were delivered on the Tuesday 8th August, but the sashes, and glass, were not delivered as promised. (It was not until August this year, almost a year to the day after the order was placed, that they were finally delivered.)

At that point in time, more than 6 weeks after the promised 5-week delivery and, having paid them $27,312, all I had was four frames, worth arguably no more than a few thousand dollars. (More fool me.)

Over the course of the next 4 months my father and I visited Roseville Joinery on at least six occasions to check up on promised, but rarely delivered, progress. By November 2017, as a result of our persistent follow up, we managed to get them to build the three downstairs windows (complete with sashes but no glass), and the outstanding sashes for the upstairs window frames (they had provided sixteen weeks earlier). These items remained in the workshop, pending supply of glass. Whenever pressed (my father or I called personally or rang weekly), we were advised that the glass suppliers had let Roseville Joinery down.

Despite repeated requests for evidence that orders had been placed on the glass suppliers, no such evidence was ever provided. Eventually on the 18th and 19th January the 16 clear glass panels were received into the workshop, but no sign of the critical coloured glass panels, and no evidence that they had even been ordered.

In March 2018, after making Roseville Joinery an offer to terminate the contract, by mutual agreement, which was declined, we seized possession of the downstairs windows (ex their glass), declared a dispute and, in April 2018, took the matter to Fair Trading.

Eventually, with the assistance of Fair Trading and through the auspices of Roseville Joinery’s solicitor a new deal was brokered.

It’s still a long story, involving more than 40 e-mails to and from the solicitor, but finally Roseville Joinery did deliver, albeit that even this new deal took three times as long, as was agreed.

I challenge all potential customers to read the 5 star reviews. Nearly all of them are fake. The reviewers are mostly from India.
We ordered a solid front door from this Damien Leaver and he said if I paid him cash in full he'd have it ready in weeks.
4 months later it was delivered and it was Hollow front door.
When we rang Roseville joinery and complain, this Moron was to tell us to get F#$@ed.
This is the owner.
What a disgrace.

One star is too many. Be warned - RUN FAR AWAY. DON'T EVEN THINK OF DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I am astonished these people are still in business. Their incompetence is mind blowing. I ordered a window from these fools in early May 2017 and paid them a 50% deposit. I wish I never had. I was told the window would take 3 - 4 weeks. At the end of May and again in early June I emailed them asking for a delivery date. I received no response until 7 July when they they told me it would be ready on July 19. On 7 August, 4 months later, I received a call from them saying they had made the window but that they had made it wrong. They had made it with spiral balances not weights and cords as had been quoted and agreed and paid for. The so-called "manager" then said he would paint it free of charge if I took it as is. I declined and asked him to make it the way I had ordered and paid for. I sent him a copy of the original quote on which he had written "w/c" (weights and cords). He then said to me - a customer - "you don't know what you're talking about. " and he hung up on me. I have never encountered such rudeness from any supplier of anything in my life. In September I gave up listening to their multiple excuses and repeated missed deadlines and contacted my bank who refunded me my deposit - because I had paid by credit card. I understand that the business used to be run by the grandfather and that it was once a good business but be warned, this is no longer the case. I have full documentary evidence to support this as I had to provide it to the bank to get my refund.

All 5 star reviews are fake or any star reviews above 1, do not go anywhere near this company you have been warned, there are plenty of other joinery companies out there, avoid this place and the people that work there like the plague, this is no joke, heed my advice or you will find out the hard way, you would be better off to throw your money out into the street

Worst
Rip off
Disgusting
Any of the reviews posted with 5 stars must be fraudulent.

I will ask the customers thinking about using this (Damien Leaver) MOB to click onto the 5star reviews and see where his 5star reviews are coming from.
I went through everyone of them.
For example. John Smith.his reviews are USA based.
Keep scrolling and the pattern appears.
Very interesting.

Terrible customer service. They didn't supply the full product that was paid for. Hung up on me when I called, very rude. Thoroughly recommend using an alternative joiner.

Had our front and rear doors custom made, was nearly 50% bigger then the average door.

The whole process went smoothly and had it installed promptly

After reading most of the latest reviews I have decided that I WILL NOT use this company. I can not risk the importance of my customers that I offer a service for. Because I am a quality builder.
Thanks for everybody’s reviews, they do count a lot.

I'm builder, i would never use these guys again.one off and never again.they keep on delaying my window delivery and made a lot lies about almost everything under the sun.old trick in the book, promise you a set date of delivery if you pay now and once they got your 50% deposit in there account, they got the power over you and you are left with nothing to stand on, just delays and more delays.what i did was i send my boys to there factory nearly every day until my window were delivered.what a waste of time. BTW the product was not that great, below standard but didnt had an choice as i have already paid in full to have them deliver to site.unbelievable.
