Rosby Wines, Gallery & Sculpture Garden reviews
21Beautiful garden, great wine and a very friendly family operated business. Amber and Jerry were so nice. It was a really nice end to the day. Great place for have a perfect weekend. Nice sculptures in the garden and so tasty cheesecake.
Lovely setting, nice wines and a tasty snack. Overall when you add in the sculptures it is well worth the trip.
A beautiful winery. We had a lovely tasting with Jerry, a great conversationalist. The art exhibition is wonderful as is the sculpture garden. Highly recommend going a little further out to visit this lovely family vineyard.
An absolute pleasure meeting Gerry and his wife (the artist). The stories about how the vineyard came about added so much value to the experience! The sculptures scattered around the field really made it a unique experience to the usual vineyard views. There is a dedicated area next to the sitting area where paintings are hung up - super gorgeous! Wine was also amazing!
Fun fact: Their son-in-law who is an architect, designed the building where you'll be doing the wine-taste testing.
Magnificent creations for maybe outdoor garden settings, backyards or art galleries.all superbly displayed at one of the famously underrated Australian wine regions.that will be Mudgee in NSW. Rosby Wines are one of Mudgee's best. Annual art festival amongst the vines.what's not to like!
Beautiful winery, welcoming owners and fantastic sculptures, gallery and garden. Have a wine tasting before checking out the sculptures in the garden on a sunny day! Definitely worth stopping by when you’re in the Mudgee area
Had the pleasure of meeting Gerry and the team at their beautiful winery. We did the wine tasting and loved their wines and walked around the property and enjoyed the sculptures and artwork. You also have to try their cheese cake. It was an wonderful experience and look forward to staying at their guest house.
We did a sculpting workshop over the weekend that was beautifully catered to. The people running the vinyard were lovely (and had the most adorable dogs roaming around). The wine was delicious as well, their Shiraz (both varieties) were gorgeous, although my sister in law was very into their moscato. The cheesecake was to die for. A lovely experience all around
Gerry the owner was extremely accomodating and lovely. During our visit we wandered the grounds and looked at the sculptures with a glass of wine in hand and then came back to the bar and had a wine tasting. Gerry’s afternoon hospitality was wonderful and it was such a lovely Saturday afternoon. Highly recommend if you’re wanting a relaxing and serene afternoon with wine.
Really enjoyed our wine tasting at Rosby - great service and some really nice wines. Thought it was a lovely setting and would suit big groups well. Also made it a bit different having the gallery / sculpture garden. Would recommend!
Beautiful setting, great wine and a very friendly family operated business. Amber was so nice and took time out to chat about the arts and about the wine. It was a really nice end to the day. Great place for sunset as well, magic hour looks great when it's glowing over all the sculptures in the garden.:)
Really beautiful winery, building and wine. The owner is super neat and the whole experience was a real treat.
Rosby Wines Cellar Door and Sculpture Garden is simply an amazing place to visit which has tastefully combined wine and art. It's quite different to other wineries in the area that we visited around Mudgee. We were lucky to have had a wine tasting session with Gerry who was very friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you Gerry and wishing you and your family a very happy and safe 2021.
Rosby is definitely a hidden gem amongst the Mudgee vineyards. The cellar door is set in a beautiful garden looking over the vines as well as a really cool sculpture garden.
The wines are sensational (the Cabernet a highlight) and I would argue as good if not better than any of the other Mudgee reds.
Only 10 minutes drive from Mudgee, Rosby Wines in Eurunderee is a winery you should definitely visit if you are in the area. We booked a wine-tasting session with Gerry who was so knowledgeable and friendly, and also enjoyed a tour of the art and sculptures on display at Rosby. We are already thinking of coming back and next time staying at their guest house also located on the beautiful property.
Last destination on the MTB (Mudgee Tourist Bus) today, but they saved the best for last. Stunning property and some of the best aged Australian reds I've ever had. Highly recommended.
This little family run vineyard is simply amazing! It is hone of an annual sculpture exhibition which cover the gardens and create such a unique atmosphere.
Then there are the wines! Wow! We had the tasting and loved each one of them! I would recommend the Riesling and Shiraz but each one was lovely!
But there is more: we got to chat with one of the owners and he was fantastic.so knowledgeable and relaxed! I lived this place and goes down as a highlight for or weekend in Mudgee!
It was lovely.
Family-owned business.
Beautiful landscapes on property, beautiful people. Wine was amazing. Bought 4 bottles.
Had the pleasure of tasting wine with one of the owners Gerry. Beautiful location with some great sculptures. Wine was delicious too!
Warm, family-run business. Incredible wines and beautiful sculptures too. A must see for Mudgee.
