Roger Shoe Repairs

Took two pairs of shoes in to get new soles. One pair was Prada and one pair was Miu Miu and I've had them for many years. They said the Miu Miu one would need a whole new leather sole. I said that was good, better to repair and get years of wear. They charged me $80 for the two. When I saw the miu miu I knew that wasn't leather and they only replaced half the soles. I wore them one day and the back heel fell off. The Prada repair was just as shoddy.

Can’t recommend. “Nice service” but bad shoe repair.
Brought two pairs of shoes whose sole was loose, and asked for advice. For 40$ they said they would mend them and they “did”. When i picked them up they were far from good so I asked and they redid them quickly. (Fun story: they couldn’t find one of the boots and I had to come to the back to help search them)
Two weeks later the shoe’s sole is loose in the same spot. What they did didn’t hold up even for a month.

Fully realise that Roger is a local legend, but his work on my shoes was woeful.

He charged me $20 instead of $15, like he initially said, just to glue the shoe soles back to the body.

He did a terrible job and the glue is very visible, and after wearing these shoes, I promise you just once, they are already coming apart!

It's not even worth me going to get these fixed again. Terrible workmanship. Pictures attached.

Do not go to this shop, they are clueless and don't know what they are doing.

Could not recommend enough! Took my boots in to get the rubber sole replaced and the heel tidied up (was scratched and the colour had faded) and it was finished in 3 hours for $30. Great price, very speedy service, and very friendly.

This man's a legend, he's done a fabulous repair job on my shoes, the stitching was all coming undone from the sole, I thought they were ready for the garbage bin, my mate told me about Roger so I took them along, so glad I did he restitched soled and heeled them
and they look great, should last another five years.

Rogers amazing! He replaced my heel tips for $15 after I was quoted $69 elsewhere for the same work. He clearly takes pride in what he does and it won’t cost you an arm and a leg

Have had a couple pairs of shoes brought back from the dead now and more recently had zippers fixed on a piece of motorcycle luggage. Always top service, work and very fairly priced.

Roger is just simply the best! My friend recommended him and I am more than happy to do the same! He is able to fix shoes that I thought were beyond repair but the look good as new now! Is is able to take care of your expensive hills as well. On top of that he is super friendly! The place is cash only so bring some notes with you.

Fantastic traditional cobbler situated in Redfern a short stroll from the station. One of the few cobblers that still take pride in their craft. Got Roger to resole two pairs of RM William boots and he did a perfect job. Will definitely come back but probably in many years because he did such a good job resoling the boots!

Rodger was great, I just had a question and Roger was super helpful and even gave me some material to help with what ended up being a DIY job. Will be back the second I need something else. Also seemed to be doing more than just shoes - a true craftsman!
