Lots of business right from cheesy chocolate to restaurants to cellar doors.

Busy as usual. Olishi is best Japanese restaurant. Reserve ahead if you have pet/s

Great place to start your hunter experience. Tempus wines are great especially the Shiraz gin. Smelly cheese is fantastic and very good ice cream.

Heaps of options from Restaurant to wine tastings to cheese tasting. Big park for kids to play.

Stopped today to go to "cheese tasting" as posted on sign.our first time in the Hunter Valley and sadly disappointed. Only one chesse to taste and when we requested a few more we were interested in buying were told "no, we aren't busy enough to open more cheese to taste". Well what are you

doing advertising cheese tastings for then? Needless to say we didn't spend much here. Worst customer service ever.

I take my grandchildren to the Smelly Cheese shop. They buy gelatos & l bring home some amazing cheeses. I can recommend their jumbo sausage rolls too. We sit outside & watch for kangaroos & wallabies roaming the paddock. Lovely experiences

It rained that hard it was hurting your head. Security would not stand under roche estate balcony roof. We had to leave we asked for a refund and told sorry no refunds. $400 for no concert nothing. Dont go there it's a rip off #

Not great, said you could bring a small esky, we got turned away saying it needed to be a soft case - didn't state this on the email. Could not purchase bottles like other vineyards, did not have Australian wine options to choose from? Rude service people, angry security guards, and not to mention we were not told of 2 of the main attractions that were no-shows! Poorly executed with too many "breaks" which were obviously just stalling for time due to the acts that did not show. Very disappointing, waste of time and money.

Holy Moly this is Picadilly Circus of the Hunter Valley. If you like the hoards of wine tasters and cheese lovers pouring off coaches and out of cars this place is for you. If not find a boutique winery, relax and enjoy your surroundings.

Great place to have lunch after doing some wine tasting in the Pokolbin area. Great view from the outdoor eating areas. Used to be Tempus Two but changed hands and name now

Love going to Goldfish for dinner and cocktails, great spot. The only downside is on the Roche Estate property there is a strong flickering light from one of the above main lights on the block and I was there visiting with my cousin who suffers from epilepsy and this was almost a trigger for a seizure to occur. I really hope they can have this light fixed as I have spoken to management in the past about it and nothing has been done.

Like everything Roche in the Hunter Valley, a great spot. The layout, the cellar doors, the location, all just brilliant

Went to Red Hot Summer today and had an awesome day. Relatively easy parking. Longest wait at the bar was five minutes.

It's good because there are a few winerys and restaurants and a food shops.
So some thing for everyone

One hour plus queues for alcohol ruined what was otherwise a stunning atmosphere. Didn't serve chardonnay. Can't blame the weather but the evacuation plan was more about shoving and squeezing us on to the street than it was public safety. Very poor event planning in all facets.

Beautiful venue with terrible Roche Estate organisation!
Went to Wine Machine 2019 last night. Had to wait 45 minutes for a drink at the VIP bar. Twice the wait at Non-VIP bar. All bars were cashless with a surcharge but was not communicated while you were waiting in line. Absolutely no Safety Management Plan during the thunderstorm! People were sent into the torrential rain and lightning. VIP and others were not allowed in the VIP area to seek shelter whilst other VIPs were sheltering there! We didn't even get to see the Main Act! People were running frantically to get to their buses which were not properly signed, had to ask 15 buses before finding our one! People were distressed and lost in the night. Felt like an apocalypse movie, everyone screaming and distressed. We want a refund this was the worst festival we ever attended and we went to a lot of them!
