Came in for them to do some final connections for my dashcam which we had put in ourself. Prompt service whilst I waited and they didn’t want to take payment because it was a small job. Thoroughly recommend checking them out as it’s nice when companies look out for customers needs and don’t overcharge. Thanks again!

What level of service you will receive is a lucky dip! Depends on which mechanic works on your car. Been going here for 5 + years & spent thousands but won't be returning

Robin did a used car inspection for us the next day we asked him for. The service as the guy was great and helped us with our decision of buying the car. Furthermore he was very helpful and wandered a lot of question we about the handling and maintenance of the car. Great work, great fella!

I have been going to this place for 10 years and will NOT be returning after the experience I had. Every time I take my car in (since the change of ownership of the business) there is alway something extra to do to my car. My car was purchased brand new and is only five years old with low Km’s. I took my car in for a service recently. The mechanic called and wanted to do a brake fluid flush and a coolant flush (extras once again). The next day I realised they forgot to put four bolts back in the plastic bracket under the engine bay. I went in on the Saturday for the bolts to be put back in, the young guy was really grumpy. I then had to go back on Monday as they didn’t even sign my log book.

Dishonest, spend 2 grand here to fix a problem and after spending that money they told me that wasn’t actually the problem and found a new part that needed to be fixed

Beware the worst most corrupt mechanics on the coast very dishonest and will overcharge you STAY Away

My bombadoore didn't pass rego, so after visiting these dudes, I dropped it off at the wreckers which is on the way and then stopped at the bottlo and spent my profits on a 30 pack of vb can's, so all's well in the end, and also nobody in there right mind would have passed my car.

Had a pre purchase inspection done, couldn't be happier with their thoroughness and communication.

I have been using this business for 20 years, but no longer will I go there. The new owners do not have any idea how to fix a car.
I took my Subaru Forester to them to sort out a noise in the transmission, the noise changed with road speed, not engine speed, but they diagnosed it as a faulty clutch input bearing. So I had the clutch replaced, but this did not fix the problem, after consultation with a transmission specialist they suggested it was centre diff noise. I took the car back to RBR to have the gearbox removed and they took it to the specialist for repair. This fixed the original noise issue and the car seemed to be working but when I was driving the car in heavy traffic I noticed that the clutch pedal would disappear to the point where it was barely driveable. So I took the car back to them, they diagnosed it as the clutch master cylinder, and they replaced it. However, when I got the car back the pedal was very low, and the pedal would still disappear in traffic. I took the car back to them twice and they still couldn't fix it and had no idea how to fix it. So, I decided to replace the clutch slave cylinder myself, and adjust the pedal height and the car has been faultless ever since. When the old owners replaced the clutch in another car of mine, they changed the slave cylinder also, and I had no problems with the clutch in that car.
So, because of the incompetence of the new owners, I had to pay for a clutch replacement I didn't need and a clutch master cylinder that I did not need. Over $2000 of wasted money, because the mechanic could not tell the difference between a transmission noise which changes with road speed and one which changes with engine speed.
The new owners do not have the knowledge and experience that Robin had when it comes to fixing cars, so I an now looking for somewhere else to go.

Robin did a used car inspection for us and was fantastic, he really knew his stuff and had lots of helpful information. He quickly gave us a full run down of what sort of life the car had had, and especially highlighted marks on the paintwork and reassured us mechanically the car was very good. This helped us negotiate a better price. And such a lovely friendly guy. Thanks Robin.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We had the upper & lower control arms on our Toyota Prado replaced. When we picked it up the guys reassured us the front end was perfect, nothing else needed so when the squeaking returned after a few days Josh INSISTED on us bringing it back in & when he found the bushes on the shocks had gone he offered to replace them free of charge BUT once they arrived they were 2mm out so he ordered the entire shock & replaced both of them at NO CHARGE! This mechanic is the most genuine, friendly and most helpful I've ever dealt with & I hope I can convince my employer to bring our company cars here for scheduled servicing! ;) From the mechanics to the receptionist, they are very helpful & will certainly have my business from now on!
