I had the incredible opportunity to complete my work placement training at North West Community Service Inc, and I am filled with gratitude for the enriching experience. The staff at the centre are not just colleagues; they are mentors who are passionate about making a difference in the community. Throughout my time there, I had the privilege of working alongside dedicated professionals who genuinely care about the people they serve. Their enthusiasm was contagious and inspired me to give my best every day.

One of the aspects I appreciated most was the variety of tasks and projects I got involved in. From organising community events to assisting individuals in need, every day brought new challenges and learning opportunities. The hands-on experience I gained was invaluable, teaching me practical skills that go beyond textbooks and classroom lectures.

The sense of fulfilment that came from helping others was immeasurable. Witnessing the positive impact our collective efforts had on the lives of community members was truly heartwarming. It reaffirmed my belief in the power of compassion and reinforced my desire to pursue a career in social services.

I am immensely grateful for this opportunity and would like to thank all of the staff at North West Community Services for their support and guidance. I highly recommend the Community Service Centre to anyone in need or who is looking to volunteer and make a meaningful difference in the community.

It’s sad that I have lived in Riverstone for 18 years, and I can’t even get help anymore with food vouchers for basic friut vegiies and meat. They have very basic pantry food, that's it. I am a full-time carers for my disabled daughter. I don't need musli bars and 2 minutes noodles, that's not nutritious food. Would they give this pantry food to there kids? Close this place down. It has no use to the community. Just overheads being paid for nothing. They couldn't even show themselves at the Riverston festival in 2023. Shame on you all. Where is the funding given to this community centre really going?

Amazing service for the community. RNC provides support for aged care, youth, people with financial or emotional problems and victims of DV.
Truly a team of people dedicated to the well being of their community.

This organisation has our community in its sights at all times providing services and support such as, flood and natural disaster relief, exercise classes, community events like Youth Week and NAIDOC celebrations and aged and disability services. Your community, Your support!

Great place to volunteer at. Plenty of activities to immerse yourself in. Staff there are willing to go the extra mile and are very helpful

These are wonderful people who go the extra mile just to make sure you get as much help as they are able to give you. Sadly they list their govt. Funding a couple of years ago so they are restricted on how and what kind of help they can give you. The are no longer able to give food vouchers outside their direct area but they do sometimes provide food parcels for outside areas. If you have any spare money, please help them to help those less fortunate and make food donations if you can. They deserve to be helped as much as those less fortunate simply because of all the hard work they do to support others. I know they would appreciate some help of their own.
