Ripples St Marys Leisure Centre reviews
56No point in paying to go here. Splash park out of order for year or so. NOW the inside pool has malfunctions. Like what the hell is going on with this place.
Great coming here on a hot day. Friendly staff. Affordable day out with the family. The outdoor watermark and slides is also a lot of fun.
Attended yesterday, we had a fun. We were a little disappointed that the indoor slide for kids has been removed and the outdoor pools were closed.
Great water park for the kids! Canteen has hot food, coffee and ice cream. Perfect outing for the family without blowing the budget. Kids are active and having a great time, everytime. The kids indoor pool is the largest I have ever, seen.
Love coming here for the warm water and deep-ish pools. Alright prices for food good for a nice time with the family
Today, I was stopped from using the ladies change rooms, my kids were here for swimming lessons, I have an 11 yr old boy & 10 yr old girl who are autistic.
I was told by the duty manager we couldn't use the ladies change rooms as by son was 11 & we had to use the disabled change room. We did, only to find it was small & my kids had difficulty getting changed as they both require help my son has hip displacia & needs to be able to sit down to get changed.
The disabled change room was completely wet, there was not a dry place for either of my kids to stand let alone sit. My son slipped over on the wet floor, I managed to catch him.
This is unacceptable to expect anyone with a physical disability to use this room.
This leisure centre has gone down hill very fast. Today we witnessed kids urinating all through the changeroom with parents who don't care, to spas and saunas being closed without notice, to the over the top smell of chlorine wafting through the place, probably to try and combat the filthy kids everywhere.
What's that? You wanted to have a shower? Well if you're over 5'7 good luck because the new shower heads have no pressure and can't be adjusted so good luck!
Ripples St Mary's is the worst Ripples of all. The lady name Robin was the absolute rudest person to work in reception. Her tone was condescending, and her attitude was like a jailer. She would interrupt you while you are explaining something, and as soon as you disagree with her, she will start acting like a bully. I felt she has issues with Muslims or minorities because she treats them like a child or outcasts. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
I like this pool, clean with lots of life guards. I think they are doing some renovations so the front entry is not available have to park tlat the shops and cross over was $9 for one parent and child. Recommended if you like to swim they also have hot tub and sauna for extra $.
Great gym and pools. Wish they didn't have swim lessons, squads and aqua on all at the same time as leaves no room for anyone else.
Seriously well trained staff. Very caring and professional. Absolute worth the $6.50 casual entry cost. Will be returning more often. Great place for kids as well. Very safe plus water is never cold.
My friends and i got chlorine poisoning from this place.lower the chlorine levels jesus christ, i suggest not going here
Affordable place to visit, friendly staff. Needs more chairs inside and the slide and outdoor splash park is always closed when we go which is disappointing for the kids.
Great customer service. Teachers are friendly and professional. Student and parent can stay in the pool after the class as long as they want.
Great indoor pool. Last visit had a sign 9ut front saying pool was closed. Not sure why. Some fans in showers/change room to extract steam would be helpful. On a hot day it's like stepping into a sauna. Not easy to get changed when you've broken out into a full sweat. Otherwise staff are friendly and attentive.
Phones never get answered intentionally. I stood at the gate, called, heard the ringer with the staff sittin on seat totally ignoring. Upon askin why she wont answer, she replied "too busy".
Kids love going rain, hail or shine. Would be better if they had the splash park opened, and a shade sail over the top and the indoor slide needs an upgrade, it's been closed for months.
Recently started taking my family here with no issues with the wife and kids. Enough lap lanes for everyone which is great. My only issues is other people will disturb the lap lanes when they are not suppose to be there. Its happened a few times now that I get interupted or close calles due to other peoples silly behaviour and cutting through the lanes. The early and late opening times are great so I can work around my schedule. Planning to be a member soon.
Small Gym with all basic equipment, nothing fancy like the big gyms. However people forget this is a gym, a public pool facility and also provided spa and sauna services. It’s all in one combo package. Definitely recommend going here. The downside, from time to time inconsiderate humans damage the property so things go out of order and they take a while to be fixed. Other than that, affordable, one stop fitness center. Has all the essentials. You can’t go wrong. Paul is the go to for membership enquiries.
