Rigpa Sydney, Tibetan Buddhist Meditation Centre reviews
10Beautiful meditation room upstairs, you can hear the birds chirping. Went for the 9am Saturday meditation which was run very nicely and a great way to start a weekend. No cost, but you can donate if you’d like
I teach yoga classes here. Absolutely love the atmosphere of an authentic Buddhist temple. Rigpa community are lovely to work with.
Beautifully decorated, warm and friendly environment, well organised and well run courses and a perfect place to learn about meditation and get some peace in these turbulent times.
Since my first experience with Rigpa I have felt welcomed and cared for. My meditation sessions at Rigpa Sydney always create big shifts in my life and the way I experience my relationships in the world - both personal and professional.
I have also found that they not only teach meditation, but they offer ways to learn more about the purpose of meditation and the history of how meditation was developed. So I feel like whatever I am receiving, is definitely of the highest quality and not 'wishy washy' like some other meditation centres that I have attended.
I highly recommend anyone who is searching for some peace to connect with Rigpa.
A great way to be introduced to Tibetan Buddhist meditation in a relaxed, open and caring environment. They offer plenty of online sessions too.
Terrific inspiring space. Friendly and supportive environment. Plenty of opportunities for meditation practice and understanding our own minds.
Welcoming people and environment. Even as a stranger you'll feel right at home. Kind experienced hands to help us all find some peace in this crazy world.
These guys have just opened in Newtown. It is a beautiful peaceful spot beside the park. The meditation is guided but without any heavy ritual.
1st came here in 2011 when it was run out of a slightly shabby old building in George St. Fast Forward 8 years and I'm still coming only now the new location in Newtown is absolutely beautiful, and so have been many of my experiences here including seeing great meditation masters such as O. T. Rinpoche.
