Renee and her team were absolutely wonderful to work with! They had tons of knowledge and even offered some unique input into the different types of options that we might not have seen previously. We especially appreciated her honesty in providing an accurate quote. We look forward to returning, and working with Renee again in the future!

If I could give zero stars I would. Renee, the owner, would be the rudest person I've ever encountered in a retail store. I dont know how her shop makes any money. Her staff are great but that's negated by Renee's nasty and belligerent manner. Such a bad experience, I wont be back and I urge you to stay clear of this establishment. There a lost of better, friendlier and similar shops around. Support those instead.

I'm very satisfied with my experience with Renee’s House of Design. Renee herself is very professional and helpful. After a few meetings in her showroom I trusted her skill and experience and I asked her to completely design the interior of our new house in the Southern Higlands. My husband and I are very satisfied with the results and we have received many favourable comments from our visitors.
I give her five stars for her ability to interpret my requirements, design flair, business ethics and access to wonderful furnishing products.

With many recommendations to seek Renee’s interior design services I visited the exquisite showroom and found myself with confident and honest advice from Renne in which she reviewed my space and consulted me on colour tones, textures and best furniture designs to meet my needs. With her patience and care we have decorated my farm house with comfortable luxury. I am delighted with the outcome, service and quality.

It is funny, a poor customer experience is never forgotten it seems, great ones however disappear like a fart in the wind.

Ventured into this place on Military Rd with partner and child a while back. We were at the time after nice furniture, and on entrance it seemed that we had perhaps found the place. That’s is when we were confronted with 2 ladies assuming the owners. Instead of being greeted with a smile and professionalism we were greeted with Paddy and Selma it seemed.

These ladies had the personalities of a door knob, did not take a liking to a child in their store, and dare say probably would rather children on Military Rd as opposed to the shop (well they would’ve keep reading).

Whilst we were watched like hawks, followed with an evil eye and hovered over by one, the other in the background gazed menacingly from behind the door like a witches silhouette on a cold, dark, stormy night while we viewed the furniture.

God forbid a 3 year old puts his fingers on there furniture, or myself for that matter. It is very disrespectful for someone to assume you haven’t got control over the matter when a child is present, it is even more disrespectful to assume you don’t have the money to purchase. One lady in particular was more menacing than the other - abrupt, angry, lacks basic etiquette in customer service and people skills, and continuously made a note for the child not to touch the furniture, hell she talked more about the child touching then the furniture at hand.

Further to the visit, as we hoped into our car after falling over ourselves to get out of the store, we noticed another young family walk in, they had a young daughter it seemed between the ages of 5-7 in there presence carrying an ice cream, a few seconds later that young girl was outside by herself eating that ice cream. I dare say she was given the riot act by the owners.

In summary, they from a only small glance did seem to have some nicely designed furniture in there store (we weren’t there long enough to go over the finer details of the furniture) however would I give them my business? Nope, customer service, etiquette and an understanding that people from all walks of life will walk into your store to purchase furniture.

There are a vast number of quality furniture places out there who are more accommodating, communicative and will provide the basic essentials to the art of sales. And to be honest, both Paddy and Selma were hardly inspirational in the selling department. If you open up a store to the general public be prepared for fingers to touch your furniture, and be more worried about a potential sale then a smear mark.

You get 2 stars on the basis I have seen far worse, some furniture looked very beautiful. I get no enjoyment out of providing a poor rating which could jeopardise ones livelihood, however I like to be sternly honest with my assessment. I hope things have improved since our visit.

Beautiful furniture and custom design available. Very helpful staff. Higher price point, but beautiful quality fabrics and well crafted, looks to be very well made and comfortable items

Having just purchased from Renee some beautiful cherry wood bookcases and a leather lounge and matching leather recliner I can’t recommend Renee and her beautiful store my highly. Once again her service an knowledge was second to none as is the case each time I purchase from her beautiful products.

Shocking customer service. Renee, who tells everyone once they come in that she is an Interior Designer with 30 years experience did not allow us to have a look at the curtains range unless we commit to buy. She could’t say the price range unless we get her to do a $350 consultation at our place. I did not mind to do a consultation in case I like something but checking the range prior was not allowed. It’s the first time a saw someone so rude and arrogant. Renee learned nothing about customer service after being in business for 30 years. Do not recommend this place to anyone.

The point of the rewiew is that we were not allowed to check the curtains range unless we book a consultation. The owners comment is irrelevant. I do not want her near my house.

I recently purchased an apartment in Mosman and stumbled into Renee's House of Design. All I can say is it is very special and one of the few shops like it with unique and beautiful pieces. I have now made 3 purchases including this beautiful table. Renee the owner was wonderful and welcoming.her knowledge about Interior Design really helped.

I have been a satisfied customer of Renee's for the past two years during which she has provided professional advice and furnishings for my Point Piper apartment. Renee has impeccable taste, access to wonderful stock, is thoroughly honest and is a pleasure to deal with.

The one star is not deserving of Renee's rudeness and arrogance over the phone. I paid them a deposit for goods on the 3rd august. I was told the table would arrive mid October. I am still waiting and upon calling them last week, she vehemently stated that she will not give me a refund and that the estimated arrival date was " my word against yours". I was told the item is still on the docks waiting clearance. I was told also that they spoke to my 'husband ' last week, informing him of the delay. I don't have a husband or anyone they spoke with. When I brought it to her attention, she became hostile and when I tried to stop her by she went ahead and said that I must have been either Lebanese or Italian with an attitude like that. The lies just keep coming. All I want is my deposit back as I did not receive the goods I ordered.
Do not buy from them.

A fabulous experience indeed. From being greeted with warmth then treated to the vast knowledge and flair for decor. My house looks gorgeous. Thank you Renee for a excellent job. Great service too. Highly recommended. I certainly will be back.

Great customer service and very personal and friendly. Renee has interior designed 5 properties for me and every time I have sold a property the furniture was sold with it. Thank you Renee for great service, great quality furnishings and a great smile.
