Thought I was techno-savvy but now, in my ninth decade, learnt how easy it is to get in a tangle and start hair-tearing. Enter RDS.
I was treated with respect, patience and above all, good humour while every problem on my list was solved, explained, and future-proofed. What's more, I've since been told RDS gives just as great service to young folk and their businesses. What a find!

My PC was a bit old and playing up on startup. RDS advised my HD may be on the way out. They fitted a SDD at a good price and cloned ny old HD. All done overnight.

I seriously thought everything was lost after a ransomware attack, but the crew from RDS were right onto it! Top notch service, quick turnaround, and 1000% cheaper than what the hackers wanted!

In July 2022, I purchased a 5TB external hard drive, to which I saved 120GB of documents and photos etc.with the intention of transferring them to my new laptop or One Drive account. In September I went to access the drive to transfer the data and the drive could not be opened.even after trying it on 3 different laptops.

I contacted Peter at Remote Data Services Australia in Dapto. He confirmed the drive was buggered, even though it was only 2 months old, but the best news ever is that he was able to retrieve my 120GB of documents and photos.

I cannot thank Peter and his team enough for their hard work and patience to restore my thousands of documents and photos. All on a new hard drive. I highly recommend their services.

Amazing honest quick service had my laptop fixed within the day after i had tried absoulty everything to amended the issue myself. Kept me informed about everything they had found and how they fixed it with on the spot quotes and very reasonable pricing. I’ve had a portable hard drive with corrupt data for several years that no one has been able to fully help me with. Peter was my last attempt at recovering these files & he did not disappoint! He managed to recover the vast majority of my files (which other places struggled to do) & did it all for a great price. I gave Peter my data to recover after a Microsoft update wiped my computer. While he was able to recover my data, the data was ultimately lost permanently. While I can appreciate accidents happen, it took me months of following up and many messages, texts and phone calls to get an answer as to what actually happened.

I rate them poorly not for their mistake but for there lack of professionalism in handling the issue.

My daughter's MacBook catastrophically failed (this is her HSC year) and we needed it fixed fast. The 5 star reviews here are all correct! Peter was able to quickly diagnose the problem for me and although it wasn't economical to repair, he got all the data off the SSD and onto a thumb drive ASAP. This was all done at a price I consider to be ridiculously cheap given his knowledge and the time spent. He also gave me the best shopping info so I could get the best deal on the replacement, all above and beyond what I was expecting. I will be using these guys for any future computer needs and highly recommend them to others
