There are some excellent services offered by Relationships Australia. Unfortunately they are (most if not all) let down by poor culture, negative work ethic, zero accountability, and an endless chain of command, that means you will never speak with someone who can actually assist. Thankfully, I was only dealing with RA on a matter that assisted one of their managed products/services.

Relationships Australia is a Provider in NSW who cares for Care Leavers/Forgotten Australians. Years ago they had a big impact on Forgotten Australians through there office Wattle Place. Over the years I have witnessed the goal posts move in that there Organisation has expanded with what I consider is less emphasis on this minor but significant group of individuals who have led incredible support for the introduction of laws for the safety of children. Unfortunately, Wattle Place in my opinion has not fought for that older generation to be considered a group who should be afforded special and specific services after having endured difficult lives. They have let many down and continue to avoid the real understanding and feelings of this historical group of individuals.
In 2015 we had a great Manager who understood the trauma of these people. It just seems to focus on political issues and funding now.
