I witnessed a Rekote Toyota Hilux Ute driving with complete reckless abandon in the Unanderra area. Speeding, driving across lanes, missed another car by less than a meter. Absolute maniac.

Despite the huge problems with covid, weather etc.and massive jobs booked in resulting in a 5 month wait time for me, the staff at Unanderra deserve a medal for their helpfulness, patience, and aproachability. Nothing was too much trouble. I had total confidence in the assessment of our roof damage, and the professional skills of the workmen repairing, replacing, sealing, painting etc.to complete the job. Very helplful guys, Honest answers to any questions asked, and immaculate cleanup. Highly recommended.

If the Vehicles are anything to go off I would not recommend, white Hilux N/B on the pac hwy at 1155 on 26/8, with nothing tied down in the tub, ladders and other tools just bouncing around, while old mates speeding, on the phone and weeving in and out of traffic. Almost like he forgot that a business name is all over the ute.

On becoming aware of a issue, the owner personally called and immediately addressed the situation. I look forward to using Rekote Roofing in the future and advise you to do the same

We had our roof painted several years ago by another company without incident until the extreme weather and torrential rains early in 2022. After many days of rain we began to experience leaking in our ceiling in a few places. We called Re-Kote and Terry O’Brien the business owner attended our home as soon as he had availability and inspected our roof. He could have quoted us anything as we were desperate to repair our roof before further damage was caused. However, to his credit he told us the problem was caused by the previous company spraypainting over the roof weep holes which, in turn was preventing excess water to escape. He quoted what we thought was very reasonable to drill out the weep holes and repair any ridge cap cracking.
We were grateful for Terry’s honesty, accepted the quote and went on his waiting list as he had a back log of work due to the prior bad weather. Last week I got a call to say he’d had a couple of jobs delayed and could fit us in that day as there was predicted torrential rain coming. He apologised for the short notice but we were grateful for his foresight.
His team of two young tradesmen arrived as stated, spent almost 3hrs working on our roof, and were polite and friendly. The rain which was forecast began two days later and we received in the vicinity of 450mm in 4 days.
I’m so relieved to say we appear to have had no further leaks since Re-Kote completed the repairs. Terry was easy to deal with, was not out to rip us off and Kirra in admin kept us informed at all times of what was happening. Highly recommend this company based on our experience.

We had a young guy from Rekote come and look at our roof, he was great, said I'll take the pics back to the office to get a quote for restoring and doing a new roof.

This is where Rekote gets 1 star.

We had the money ready to pay for a roof to be restored/redone as we were getting water damage into the house. We waited for a week and a half and never heard anything, so we started calling them every second day for 2 weeks. Everytime we called the poor receptionist kept pushing the matter to whoever it is that quotes and would let us know we would have the quote by the end of the day or the next day. This happened 5 times until she eventually gave us Terry's mobile number as she hasn't been able to get him to quote us. As she is telling me this, I can hear Terry in the background yelling that he is just gonna quote us to fully redo the roof, not repair it. At this point we needed our roof done so badly we would have paid anything, so we still wanted the quote.

I called Terry's mobile and he angrily answered and spoke to me until I told him my address, then he changed his tone and promised me a quote from him by the end of the day.

Never received that quote. We eventually got a different company to do it.

Im sure their quality of work is good, but we wouldn't know and had a horrible experience with them

They done a professional job and on time, very good and easy communication skills with the team. They really went out of their way to make sure I was happy and satisfied. Outstanding finished product and couldn’t be more happy.

Rekote repaired and resprayed our roof following water damage. They were responsive, professional and provided such a high quality service. Highly recommended!

Just had our roof pressure washed and re-pointed by Rekote. Quick response around quote and Josh who did the work was brilliant. The rain caused havoc before he was due to come out but Josh kept me updated about timing. He did a great job and kept me informed all the way and cleaned up after. Would definitely recommend these guys.

I had Terry and his crew replace my roof with new tiles in mount warrigal, and have to say the quality of there work is excellent. Very happy with how it looks and would recommend them to anyone looking to do the same. Thanks again Terry.

Fantastic reputable company. Came out to inspect my roof after rodents getting in. Arrived on time. Gave the roof an inspection. Said it was in great nick and didn’t need any repairs and that it was good to meet me.

I've been impressed with ReKote from start to end. The quoting process was detailed and effortless. Josh who sprayed the roof was honest, hard working and results focused.

Amazing restoration on our tile roof! Fully repointed, all broken tiles replaced, cleaned and fully resprayed. Looks brand new. Extremely professional company to deal with.

I got a quote from Rekote to fix 3 broken tiles, I accepted and they said that they would fix it the next day, they strung me along for a week and then said they were too busy. I suggest going somewhere more professional.

I’d had my roof restored by another Roof Restoration Company however during the first rains post repair it started leaking and trying to contact the original company got me nowhere. I rang Re-cote Roof Restorations and they were able to not just fix the repair but were professional, punctual and reasonably priced (they could have charged me anything they wanted given that I desperately needed my roof repaired. These guys had a lot of integrity).

My roof is terracotta, 42 years old and was covered in lichen, now its shiny and new, the new colour is perfect and my house looks great. Very pleased with the result.

I had terry and the team replace my existing roof tiles with Boral Terracotta Shingles. From the day that Terry came out and gave me a quote I knew that Rekote was the company that I was going to go with. Terry was up front and honest about the options available to me and whether or not I should try to repair the existing roof or just replace it with a new roof. The new roof tiles were installed within 2 days. No mess was left at all which I really appreciated as well. All in all the whole experience was a pleasant one and I have no hesitation in recommending Rekote Roofing to any of my friends in the future. Again Terry thanks for the fantastic job.

I arranged for someone from Re-Kote to organise a quote for some storm damage and additional roof restoration for my retired mother the week before last, which I booked in and organised over the phone for her.

On the day, my mother stayed home for the requested time window of a few hours and not only did no one come, but no one answered the phone when she called the business and no one (either on that day or any subsequent day) ever called her back.

She's now getting her roof fully restored through another (reliable) business and I'd strongly recommend having nothing to do with this unprofessional mob.
