Redfern Barber Shop

My friend Huw (Welsh spelling) suggested these guys. Just walked out with a brilliant hair cut and a face smoother than a baby's bum. Will be back!

The experience was wonderful, the staff were fantastically friendly and every so kind. I will start to travel to this shop more often.

Looked fine when he combed my hair up after the cut, once I got home and the water had dried, a giant part of my left side wasn't cut and hung over the side of my head, worst hair cut I've ever gotten, avoid unless you just want a buzz cut

I have been going to Ali for over 3 years now. I believe he is a sculpture and an artist.

He is an amazing barber, is quite quick with his hands.

I believe he is one of the best in the Sydney.

Always get it right and always ask if you are happy with the cut or if there is something else you need.he’ll make sure you are happy when you leave the chair.

I appreciate his work and would travel all the way from western Sydney for just a hair cut.

Grumpy barber. He is Rushing. Not attention to details. Communication Problem. They insist that what they prefer and not what a customer wants. Not coming back here. Worst ever. Not going to argue with these kind of people. I could get a better haircut at that price ($30) m

One of the lowest quality haircuts I’ve ever had for $30, I left the hairdresser worse than I arrived. No enthusiasm or professionalism, care and responsibility for my haircut, just busy hands and a quick cut.

The barbers idea of thinning was taking a pair of scissors and randomly cutting across the head while my hair was combed over and asking ‘is that enough? ’ While his friend or other barber sat 5 meters away, standing, watching the entire time. Super weird and expensive for scissors & 90% electric razor.

If you go here, use a reference photo for a style. Don’t give specific direction, it will be used as a weapon against common sense & intuitive skill.

Walk in haircut on a Sunday morning, Ali was professional and gave me an amazing and timely cut. Very happy with the result, definitely coming back!

Not happy with my cut. Barber cut my hair and same time talking on the phone. Every cheap haircut was better than this expensive one.

Dont waste ur time here. Ask for simple haicut swept to right, and completely destroy my fringe. Left side is shorter than right side, cuts done haphazardly like he was rushed

Did a quick 5 minute job and left me with an uneven and cheap fade and rushed uneven cut on top which can’t be styled

Unfortunately the haircut I received here was very bad. He was rushed and rude, and the final result was lopsided and uneven. Will have to find another shop to fix it, first time I’ve had to do that.

Called to ask about the price of a simple haircut - the guy said they don't tell their prices over the phone - that says a lot. Also walked by it earlier and the look of the place confirms you should avoid it.

He keeps putting up the price but he does not tell you until you pay

For locals and regular customers it is a bad look to keep charging higher prices without telling them first

The prices on the boards outside and inside are false
He charges up to $10 more

Honesty doesn't cost anything but this barber changes his prices to suit his moods
