Red Soda Band Sydney

I cannot recommend Red Soda Band highly enough! We had Ruby perform at our wedding in October and she was unbelievable. She learnt a handful of songs we asked for our big moments and they were perfect. The rest of her repertoire was exactly what we envisaged - everyone commented how good she was. My wife and I can't wait to get the video so we can listen back to her a little more.

Kristen is so good to deal with in the lead up, too. She made everything really simple and gave us time back to focus on other parts of the wedding planning chaos. We massively appreciated her!

We couldn't have asked for a better business to make our wedding day truly magical! Right from picking the initial items in our quote to booking to the actual day, everything was wonderful! Dom's musical talents added such a beautiful touch to our ceremony, with his soulful singing and expert guitar playing creating the perfect ambiance. As a DJ, he kept the dance floor alive and had everyone grooving throughout the night. His versatility is truly impressive!

Felicity, our main point of contact, was an absolute dream to work with. From the initial planning stages to the big day itself, she was incredibly organized and attentive to every detail. Her guidance and support made the whole process smooth and stress-free. We felt like we were in capable hands, and it allowed us to fully enjoy our special day.

Kristen was fantastic to work with - quick to respond, no question was a silly question and she made the process so smooth when I requested a song that was not on the song list and sheet music needed to be purchased.

The musicians were fabulous - it was a beautiful touch to have the string quartet play at our wedding in the Royal Botanic Garden. We're so glad we ended up with great weather to enjoy them outside, and we're sure the public who stopped to watch our ceremony enjoyed them too!

I am posting this review as my personal experience as someone who attended a wedding about 8 months ago and not on behalf of anyone else. The music was extremely disappointing. When speaking to the bride and groom they were so upset and also mentioned NONE of their song choices were played. They mentioned the communication from you was poor. Considering how important weddings are it would be nice if you acknowledged the mistakes made by your team and worked to make sure none of this happens to any future weddings to spoil any one else’s big day.

Most married couples are quick to dish out with the wedding advice, so my husband and I will take the opportunity to join them and tell everyone how amazing Red Soda were to work with and how exceptional the band were on the big day. Felicity was meticulously organised and made everything so easy and stress free in the lead up to the big day, even with changes in requests from our venue. We were so lucky to have found Red Soda, Liam and Sinead the vocalists and the amazing band. We are so grateful to them all for getting married life started with the best party! Thank you!

I can't recommend using Red Soda Band enough! Their website makes it so easy to pick and choose the singers and what you need for your special day. Excuse after excuse.

We used Red Soda for our wedding 8 months ago. I am still extremely upset and annoyed by the music from our wedding. Not one song from our playlist was played, other than the key moment songs. There was no atmosphere, no one wanted to dance, and the music was a complete flop. When I emailed after the wedding to express my disappointment I was given poor excuses as to why they “missed” the email with my playlist, which they had replied to. No "template" was ever requested, and we were lead to believe everything was in order as we had sent all links and details which had been requested of us with no further follow up.

OH - I almost forgot to mention, they RUINED the surprise of my husbands music choices for the key moments after being asked multiple times, very clearly, not to reveal them to me.

I don’t think I will ever completely get over how much the music ruined my wedding.

The artists themselves were able to sing and play nicely, and the MC was good. But they don’t know how to read the room and get the party started. The music is the only regret from our wedding day and unfortunately it’s a big one.

If you want nice background music they would be more suited to this.

Red Soda provided exceptional music for our wedding ceremony, and we couldn't have been happier with their service. Kristen was a pleasure to work with, and she helped us find the amazing singer Kay, whose performance was outstanding. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed his solo throughout the afternoon. From start to finish, Red Soda demonstrated professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to making our wedding day special. Couldn’t recommend Red Soda more highly. Felicity was a delight to plan our wedding entertainment with and answered all my many questions promptly and warmly. We had a acoustic guitar and string trio for the ceremony (sooo beautiful!), followed by acoustic guitar and saxophone for reception which then went into DJ and saxophone. Tim was our vocalist, guitar and DJ- what a talented human! Wow! Also our saxophone player was incredible (who knew you could put a sax to so many songs!) and brought a great vibe to the evening. So happy we chose them for our wedding, they nailed the party vibe we wanted for the reception!

WOW! Booking Red soda for my wedding was one of the best decisions I made in the wedding planning process. Tim and Sheen were just incredible and Felicity was so easy to communicate with. All of our guests boogied the night away and we had so many comments on what a vibe it was! Thank you so much!

Liam and the red Soda band were hands down the highlight of the wedding night! They had everyone up dancing with the best lineup of songs the entire night. He also sang acoustics at the ceremony and his voice is insane no matter what song. The energy from the all was infectious. I had so many amazing comments about them from my guests! From start to finish Red Soda was amazing with communication and professionalism.

We hired a three piece band after going through all the talented artists we landed with Dom. We have to say this was the best decision we made, Dom and his band completed the night they where exactly what we needed to make our wedding special.

We would highly recommend Red Soda and Dom and his crew to anyone looking for a great band for there special occasion.

We had Kartik perform live music and two live sets for our wedding this weekend which was wonderful. He then DJ'd for the party and did his best with what (I think) were some very conflicting song/style requests from my wedding guests. When a song doesn't land with the crowd and the dancefloor clears out that is a pretty clear indicator that you are moving onto the wrong track.

Both my Wife and I decided to have Red Soda Band play at our wedding. The band was exceptionally well managed with regular communication, often on weekends and public holidays at short notice. They were accommodating of all requests. The band itself played to an exquisite standard and was more than happy to extend their playing time throughout the day. Big thanks to Kristen for managing and Michael for his musical talent. Cheers!

We used Red Soda for our wedding in December 2022 and they were excellent! Courtney and Blain were very skilled musicians and played all the songs we requested and Kristen (Coordinator/Organiser) was amazing to deal with. The price was very reasonable too. We couldn't be happier. Highly recommend!

Red sofa band did such a great job at our wedding! We are very happy with the music. The live singing was great. Music for the dance floor is absolutely amazing.
