Wonderful place with fantastic hosts. We stayed in a separate cottage, and it was incredibly comfortable. We often encountered 2-5 kangaroos every day. The hosts were very hospitable and clearly passionate about this place.

The bed sheets were the softest sheets I've ever slept in.

Super-comfortable, stylish accommodation in a gorgeous vineyard setting. Hosts, Evelyn and Stewart, go out of their way to meet your every need, from great coffee to hearty breakfasts (inclusive). Everything is homemade and based on local produce. We loved our generous cheese platter (olives picked and marinaded by Evelyn) and excellent bottle of Red Door Pino. Minutes to other lovely vineyards and the fantastic Restaurant Botanica. Hard to beat. This is our new Hunter home.

Stayed one night with the lovely owners and felt really taken care of and the food was excellent, super peaceful and will be returning with friends in the future. Loved it

Spent the weekend staying at this lovely estate. The lovely couple who own this estate were very welcoming, great hospitality and great cooking by Everlyn. Will definitely be visiting again! The chilli relish made by everlyn was definitely one of a kind and purchased many on our way out the door! We’re greeted with an amazing cheeseboard and bottle of their wine upon arrival!

Highly recommend staying at the RDC if you are wanting to experience a wholesome welcoming boutique private experience!

Perfect place to stay and relax in Hunter Valley. The suites are cozy and clean, the breakfasts are delightful. The owners - Stewart and Evelyn are wonderful hosts. I highly recommend this place.

Stuart and Evelyn are the most amazing, welcoming hosts and made our weekend in the hunter so enjoyable. We loved our stay on this beautiful boutique vineyard. Outstanding hospitality including wonderful breakfast prepared by Evelyn. (We could not leave without some of her home made chilli jam & selection of their beautiful wines)
Plenty of wonderful wildlife on the property and felt incredibly peaceful tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main town centre. Would highly recommend staying here on your next HV trip.

Thank you Evelyn and Stewart for a truly nourishing weekend away. Your character filled cottages featured all the creature comforts for our stay! Space to relax and yet cosy with a fire place for sharing a glass of wine and having a giggle. Loved my warm toasted museli breakfast - and the best coffee around! We look forward to staying again!

Can not recommend highly enough. The cottage we had was immaculate with everything that was needed and more.
The breakfasts were superb catering for coeliacs, vegetarians etc.
You have to try Evelyn’s mushrooms The best I have ever tasted. And Stuart was a genius at the coffee machine
We also had dinner delivered to our cottage on one night. There was not a bit left on anyones plate.

Wow! Highly recommended, truly 5 stars (6 if we could). We loved everything about this place. The owners Stuart and Evelyn are such beautiful people, so welcoming and genuine.

The room was amazing; well appointed, modern and clean. And the food! So damn tasty, loved every bite. A true Master Chef Evelyn is.

Location is great. Very exclusive, we walked around the property along the vineyard while watching the sunset up a seclude hill; truely magical.

Thank you so much for making our stay here in the Hunter Valley and Indi’s Birthday one to remember. Can’t wait to be back in the future!

Breakfast - The omelette and fry breakfast was awesome! Wet generous servings.

Their home made chilli jam and lemon grass ginger and garlic chutney was sooooo good that we recommend to purchase to incorporate into home meals.

Celebrated our anniversary with 2 nights at RDC - and we had an exceptional service experience and a relaxing time. Everything you need for a luxurious little Hunter getaway is on property.

LOCATION - You can see the mountains and sunrise/sunset from the property. Also - it’s 15 minutes from some of the best restaurants in Hunter (we wanted something close to Muse).

FOOD- Made fresh to order breakfast daily served at the main building, included with villa room rate and exclusive to guests staying at RDC. We had a big breakfast fry up on the first day with freshly made coffee and chai, and a chorizo omelette and French toast the second morning. Evelyn is the owner/chef/country Hostess extraordinaire and all the food she prepares is locally sourced, high quality produce. Everything from the cheese, to the honey has been tried, tested and selected. Food is lovingly prepared - and you can taste the difference. We also loved having the option to order an outstanding dinner delivered to the villa so that we didn’t have to worry about going anywhere or cooking for ourselves. She specialises in Thai and Malaysian food. Authentic green curry and panang curry packed a punch with just the right amount of heat! Our stay included a local cheese platter as well, and everything was on point.

WINE - single vineyard wines crafted by Stuart and Evelyn, who’ve got amazing taste. If it’s good enough for them, it’ll be good enough for the rest of us. Beautiful white wines, reds and dessert wine options as well. We really enjoyed the semi-private wine tasting experience, ended up buying a bunch of it home!

SERVICE - the experience here and getting to know our hosts was really special. Everything has been thoughtfully designed and prepared for us to feel pampered and relaxed. We arrived to a bottle of red and heart balloons all over the bed - super cute. Evelyn even lent me a pair of gum boots to go explore their large property. She also recommended a great call-out masseuse who came to the villa. Perfect for maximum relaxation!

There is nothing quite like this place - boutique vineyard with single vineyard wines + 3 guest villas on property with our hosts/property owners just up the hill whose two friendly dogs add to the farm/country vibes. All in all, an amazing experience. Looking forward to our next time here!

Evelyn and Stuart not only have the perfect getaway, their service is exceptional! The rooms were beautiful and spacious with incredible views, and their wine is to die for along with their cooking! Highly recommend for a romantic getaway:)

Tried this 2020 Semillon 'and a breath of fresh air' by RDC Estate.yum! Light, fresh and zesty with a hint of oak and lovely buttery finish on the tongue. One bottle just wasn't enough! Drink well chilled!
