Very happy with our new wardrobes. The installers were fast and efficient leaving us with a great finished product.

Unfortunately our experience with the lady in the office, Jo was less than satisfactory. Upon receiving our final quote requiring a deposit to be paid, less than 12 hours later we received a phone call from Jo asking for payment to be made that day (something we were intending to do during the work day when we had a second to do so). My husband and I both found this to be rather pushy and unnecessary considering the time that had passed.

After having our wardrobe installation (3 day job) booked in for 6 weeks she called a few days before to say that on one of the days the installer had a funeral and asked us to move to an earlier start date. Unfortunately we already had a trade in the day she was requesting that could not be moved. She then proceeded to tell me, “well if you can’t move we just won’t be able to do you as you are not being flexible with your dates. ”

When this comment was brought up later in our conversation she denied making this comment and told me to stop getting upset. She also hinted at the fact I was being unfair to the worker that had a funeral, as it was not his fault his friend passed away.

Never at any point was I not understanding of the situation, but never at any point did she offer an alternative. Either I do the date she asked or they couldn’t do our wardrobes. Each time I tried to speak she yelled over me and would not let me say anything.

In the end she called a manager and sorted someone else to come and do the job. The three day job was completed in half a day. Jo definitely needs brush up on her tone and manner that she speaks so customers with as she comes across incredibly rude.

We are extremely happy with the upgrading of our existing wardrobes. The workmanship is excellent and our installer Mikey has done a great job. Very professional and obliging young man. The loss of a star is for the sub-contractor who complained most of the time he was here installing huffing and puffing telling me I had too many stairs and he was tired after his big weekend. Must say also when I had the quote, pride was taken on having installers who worked for Rebel rather than sub/contractors like to other mob I was considering. Then to have a sub contractor come to install.

Just had my mirror wardrobe doors converted to polyurethane doors, I had the rail lowered inside for easier reach, Grahame made some suggestions for the inside that made lowering the rail easy, all great he wasn't pushy suggesting alterations that other companies wanted to do, Macca that did the installation was excellent he discussed what he was doing consulted me, cleaned up and did an excellent job. I would recommend Rebel to all my friends and I'm going to ask Grahame to look at some other furniture I want custom made.
My 1st contact with Rebel was at their showroom, because I'm disabled I could not go upstairs to the showroom and Jo come down to me and talked to me in the car, she continued to keep me informed and made Rebel a pleasure to deal with. Thanks to all.

I can't speak too highly of the excellent service I received from Rebel Wardrobes from start to finish. They did a fantastic job in updating my built-in wardrobe and were reasonably priced.
