Extemely difficult to get help!
Scenario: I just needed a price on an item and there was a scacity of staff to seek assistance! This forced me to line upo at the check out top get a price on the item I had chosen.
It is a poor business model when you have selected an item that has no price registered on the item and forced to line up at the check out to get a price for that item.
This is hardly an effective business model. It certainly detracts from the prospects of returning to this store.

Reasonable selection of gear, some specials available when I visited.
Warning, I did want to buy a set of weights, I didn't because they don't have trolleys and they are top floor.bit of a pain. Apart from that all good:)

Everything you need in sports apparel and more, great customer service and excellent variety.

No one in the store, Waiting for 15ish minutes while the fake excuse of a sales representative said he will check to see if my product was in the store room,
I ask another staff member where is he, she says he will go find him. I then find him at the counter where he said causally like he didn’t just waste my time, “were you sitting there the whole time? ”.
What a joke. Improve your training, or shut the store down. There is no excuse for incompetence when the store is literally empty.

Professional and friendly staff. Attentive, encouraging and very ready to help without being over the top or pushy.

I had an issue with soccer boots I recently bought at another rebel branch. Surprisingly, the manager dealt with this matter very professionally and seriously and I couldn't be even happier with her support! Rebel has been always great, but this store actually gave me an exceptional feeling. I am happy that it's my local store.:)

Water all over the floor. Seeping from the bases of the basketball rings. Obvious risk. I fell heavily, experiencing both humiliation and pain.

There was a very impolite, not helpful and bad staff (I don't know her name but dark curly hair and dark skin) that ruined my day.
Gave them three stars as the other staff was nice.

It's not a bad store, though it doesn't seem to have the same level of stock as some other stores. Think this might be a smaller store than some others.

The staff working at Rebel Sport Hornsby is Terrible, They don’t know the difference between a size 10 and a size 11. When I asked for a size 11 Shoe, the male staff came out and gave me a size 10.so obviously when I tried it, it wouldn’t fit. THEN I discovered it was a size 10, so i questioned the staff and his response was sorry we don’t have any size 11s for this particular shoe… And I’m just thinking to myself, you could have at least told me before… So I thanked him and told him I didn’t want it then when I checked out with another item the staff was offering free bags to other customers before me but not me. So that was really disgusting and made me feel I’m being discriminated against, I’m happy to pay for the bag as long as everyone is paying for it. And if you gonna offer one customer a free item, you have to offer it to all your customers. Everyone should be treated equally. And when I ringed up later another female staff picked up the phone, I raised this issue to her and told her I wanted to speak to the manager, she was very helpful and agreed this was an ongoing issue and many other customers have made complaints. But later when I talked to the manager, she was not very happy about me raising this issue, and told me many excuses and made me feel like it was my fault.

Staff were friendly enough. However, poor selection of soccer boots for women. Not many 'smaller' men's soccer boots available. There definitely appears to be a market out there because in the short time I spent at the store, two other women also asked for soccer boots.

Very good selection on hand, they have a good customer service team to help you with all your requirements.

Sadly they didn't have any kids wetsuits in stock, but the staff member I spoke to was very helpful. I was very impressed by the shoe recycling program. I had thought it only recycled athletic shoes, but they do all sorts of other shoes too. Cool!

Call out for Josh at Rebel (Hornsby) … called Rebel on the phone - and Josh picked up.

Josh is a highly attentive salesperson - he went above & beyond with our treadmill purchase - we had several conversations, until we arrived at the right product to suit our needs (very patient!) - & had excellent product knowledge across the range. He also made commitments to follow up / call us back on points related to our purchase & followed up, on time.

Keep up the great service Josh! … well done young Sir!

I purchased my shoes from The Athletes Foot. I was really happy with the customer service, knowledge, foot measuring/assessment etc and attention to detail. When I visited Rebel Hornsby, the girl could only bring out sizes of shoes (2 sizes too big than asked for). No interest, no suggestions, no interest. I voted with my feet. Literally. Thank you Athlete's Foot, I will never go to a Rebel store again after the third bad experience in a row.

Big store not a lot of staff and the products I were after very few on the shelves and very few price tags on the shelves or on goods, no price scanners in store.
Was not thrilled to shop there.

I called to have a product reserved and they couldn't find it on the racks and promised to call me back by the end of the day - they didn't I went in the next day to look for it and there it was, right where it was supposed to be! Its Christmas so I understand people being flustered, and the store itself is well set up with knowledgeable staff, but this was a bit of a frustrating experience.

Good lots of different sports covered. I got a pair of NB's nice $200 no discount. Been there before lots of sales

I just called up Hornsby and Nathan was most amazing and helpful over the phone. He helped me pick what shoes would fit, recommended the style and was so patient. Thank you Nathan. You made my day!

I wish they have a little more staff working on the weekend but it probably won't make much of a difference in term of waiting time for assistance. In saying that once someone is free to assist you they do do a good job!
