Reading Cinemas Rhodes

I went to an early morning session to watch Thanksgiving. The service was friendly, the cinema had good aircon and was clean, which added to the overall comfort of watching the movie. The seats also feel a lot more nicer than at Event Cinemas.

Man I honestly must have gone at the most absolutely worsest time because straight away I was discriminated for taking my own food in which I know is a rule bt it's jst sooo ridiculous and then the feeling of like being watched like a hawk. I immediately felt uneasy it was very uncomfortable. There's also no noticeable signs we're the heck theatre 1 is I know this cause every other theatre was clearly insight. Anyways fast forward got in the theatre took one look at the movie and cringed at how damn poor the quality and lighting was. I was unsure if I made a mistake purchasing the right version bt I would presume all movies came in HD quality.is there different versions? Shesh man what a bad experience and this place has such a lot of good reviews too

There was a huge snack variety but some less variety in drinks which was fine. I watched fnaf here and it was a great experience. You could hear everything clearly and the cinema didn't smell and was clean.

Not very crowded. Clean and good condition chairs. Usually many options for movies. Free parking and food court available from the shopping center

Lux hall is nice.it seems new, clean, with big comfy recliner chair and handy little drink holder etc.

Going to the cinema is still a thing in 2021. It's a celebration worth partaking in while you still can. Sure the popcorn and choc top icecreams are woefully overpriced but they've been that way since as far back as I can remember. (40 years) So you don't go too often as it gets expensive very quickly. But when you do go, pick a movie worth seeing - not something with Vin Diesel in it - and enjoy the feeling of getting ripped off while you sit in the dark and watch the lights flash fantastic. Barely a dozen other punters watching along with us - testament to the slow, suffocating death cinema will inevitably undergo. Internet killed the cinema show? Can't rewind, we've come too far!

Although it took a long time to get a ticket i really enjoyed the movie and cinema was the best. I went on a Sunday afternoon.

Decent cinema. It’s relatively large and the tickets are cheap so there’s not much to complain about. The screen is also really big. My only issue was that I felt that I couldn’t get comfortable in the seat, but maybe that was just me.

First time in such a long time that I came to watch movie in this cinema.
Just because my nephew wants to watch Tom & Jerry movie, then I agreed to give company.

I wasn’t expecting anything from reading cinemas, however I was surprise, in a good way.
First, ticket was cheap!
Second, just maybe our lucky day, that specific movie was showing on “titan” which is kind like V-Max on event cinema but on steroids!
Literally they have big screen, just like IMAX, and the chair is recliner too.
It’s a very good deal!
I will come back to Reading Cinema, for another good movie seasons.

Affordable and still a great quality cinema. The old Hollywood style portraits of film stars around give it a nostalgic feel and the staff are always friendly. One time the projector was tilted and the movie was showing wrong so I had to go and ask someone to fix it however very human error and adds to the charm. They sometimes do a ‘reading movie quiz’ on screen before the movie and I adore them. They should do them more often!

The new renovations at Reading Cinemas Rhodes is very refreshing and modern. The customer service is very friendly and the overall cinemas are very clean!

Shocking seats. How can you watch a film like this.emailing for a full refund. How can you sell these seats? Half the screen missing. Have to sit up most of the time to try watch. Bloody awful. Go elsewhere.

Absolutely shocking woeful, completely inept staff. Avoid. Go to Auburn. Queues out the door for food two staff serving. Missed the first 10 mins of the film. Shocking cinema.

Extremely disappointing 1.5 metre social distancing wasn't followed during the our viewing of mortal kombat what else was frustrating is that the cinema continually let people in 10 to 15 minutes after the movie had started which meant that people walking in front of the screen distracting our viewing experience. This coupled with the fact that people were sitting next to me, one person in particular was coughing all over the place was extremely concerning given the fact that we are in the midst of a pandemic.

Awesome experience. Went to watch Peter Rabbit 2. Cinema theatre was maintained too good. Good electrical recliner with large comfy seats make the movie watching so good.

Mostly good. A little short on staff the day I went so the person maning the theatre entrance was unable to direct me to the right area for my movie and I needed to find it myself.

Easy location. Easy parking. Be aware free parking is once per day only. If you drive out and re enter, they will charge you. Nice big screen, motorized adjustable big seats. The arms of the seats cannot be lifted. Watched Kong versus Godzilla. Very nice surround surround sound.
