Staff here are great. Our family has had many scans here over the years and never an issue. Really appreciate getting an appointment here
No update on whether or not sonographer was running late. Made me wait with a full bladder for 30 minutes. Sonographer had the worst attitude, Literally the worst place. Never coming here again.
Professional and friendly staff. Very helpful. The doctor gave me confidence and reassurance.
The five stars is for the radiologist who did my ultrasounds, an Irish lady who was just delightful and treated me with gentleness and respect. The reception was satisfactory but yes agree with others could be better.
Quick and efficient, wasn’t dirty like the reviews made it sound, just an old style building. Everything is hygienic and sterile.
Staff were all friendly and helpful and made sure you were comfortable.
Offers Saturday appointments and bulk-billed. Will be back in future.
Worst image ever. Cancelled my booking three times. First time tell me wrong time. Second tell me no female doctor. Third time tell me the dr didn’t come. I won’t waste my time to go there anymore.
Hi, tried twice to call and book held on for far too long. Its simple answer the phone and you get my business.

Great place not sure why it has such low reviews. I think because when you first walk in it looks dirty but the staff is highly professional and experienced.
I needed an ultrasound done and this clinic was the only one to get an appointment in a day or two with bulk billing.
The Asian doctor had good communication skills and was able to explain the situation clearly which helped me understand my problem.
Great staff
I went in for a follicle tracking scan for IVF today, my first egg collection is dependent on these results and therefor quite urgent. They took me out back with the patient before me and then asked me to sit in a dirty room to wait.
Once it was my turn, I explained to the sonographer that as per my referral this is urgent for IVF and advised my nurse had requested the tracking sheet be completed as she scanned so I could send the results straight through. The sonographer refused to do it because she was “too busy”with more patients waiting and needed to be as quick as possible.
She was really quick and rough with my scan and said she would just send the results through later. I then heard back from my IVF clinic tonight requesting I get another scan elsewhere as the results were not accurate according to my 2 previous tracking scans.
I’ve had many of these scans before and this was by far the absolute worst experience & so unprofessional and insensitive considering this scan is for IVF.

Although the reception area is not so appealing I found the medical staff to be excellent. I was so anxious about having a cortisone injection in my back, however the staff reassured me and talked me through it successfully, putting me at ease. Thank you so much for your understanding.
I was a bit worried before going there because of some bad reviews; however the process was so smooth, and the staff members were very helpful. I went for OPG as a walk-in client.
So unprofessional and terrible service. Never gave me the X-ray films even though I called and visited multiple times for them. Never even sent the digital images to my doctor or specialists. Jeopardised multiple specialist appointments as I didn’t have the X-ray films I needed. Ended up giving me a blxxdy CD that no one could use. Trying to cheap out printing films when that is an expected part of getting and paying for X-rays.
Sending you to the wrong suit and get you to wait for very long time and no one is talking to you
I'm surprised to see negative reviews about Rayscan Burwood. I've always found the staff kind and professional. I also appreciate the easy disability access and ample street parking. For a busy centre that bulk bills most (possibly all?) of their procedures, I think they do quite well at handling the large volume of patients.
The people that took my ultrasound and xray were great and also they had availability the very next day.
Unfortunately, although I was informed on my way out the my doctor will receive the images same day, she didn't receive it the next day when I had my appointment.she proceeded to chase it up but still wasn't sent so had to make another appointment 2 days later. Disappointingly, my doctor had to again follow up for it before she could call me with my results! Terrible end to end process!
Excellent service. My doctor suspected I had a blood clot and contacted Ratscan who made a scan appointment for me. Within 90minutes I was scanned and was back to my doctor for treatment all within a couple of hours.
Wildly unprofessional. My partner came for an important scan involving a preparation that makes waiting long periods very uncomfortable.
The clinician is over an hour late. Does not call to notify receptionists of situation. Patients wait, without knowing what’s happening without any updates in worsening discomfort.
Very bad communication that translates as disrespect towards patients.
Avoid if possible.
Just walking into the waiting area is like stepping into an 80s clinic. It also looks like it has not been renovated for over 20 years. This is what I think prison imaging looks like. Their forms are outdated and I could not even hear what some of the staff said. Was that a question or a statement? The bed I had an internal ultrasound on faces the entry door that opens to the common walk through area. That was a major concern for me. There is text tag in the bathroom that could easily be removed with a little attention.
I would must definitely in the future wait for an appointment at the warm, clean and welcoming lovely team at Alfred Imaging.hands down!
Terrible booking service, receptionist couldn't wait to hang up. Very run down old premises, staff are not nice, unpleasant, borderline rude, wanted to inject me with iodine without prior questioning on health history. Never again will I go there.
