I have used Rachel’s cleaning services for a few months now and have always been really pleased with her work. I would highly recommend this service. Great quality and efficiency!

Moving is stressful enough, I had a worker show up to complete a bond clean however they spent the majority of the time chatting and on the phone, they then left saying they would come back to finish the job. That's when I received a backlash from Raquel, extremely unprofessional. I sent photos to show that most things hadn't been touched only to be again insulted. Not recommended

I rarely ever leave a bad review but felt people should get a warning about dealing with the business owner Raquel of Raquel’s Home Services.
Essentially I was charged $80/hour for a deep clean and the staff member who attended was clearly untrained in domestic cleaning and did an extremely poor job and left mess for me to clean up. The service I got was not a ‘deep clean’ it was barely a ‘standard clean’. I requested a partial refund from Raquel and then bore the brunt of the most unprofessional behaviour I have ever experienced. Raquel was defensive, rude and insulting and did not seek to understand what had happened nor rectify the situation. She made derogatory remarks about me and my home. I am shocked at her attempt to shame a client about the state of their home and it makes me wonder how she speaks of her other clients.

Raquel denied me a partial refund only because she had already paid her employee so didn’t have the money. I’m appalled at Raquel’s lack of professionalism, the blaming of her business operations on the client and her unwillingness to mediate or rectify the situation. Raquel has taken zero responsibility, even though saying she was going to fire her staff member for what happened but then simultaneously refused to take any responsibility and give me a partial refund. I never asked for her staff member to be fired, in fact I kept saying what he needed was training in his attention to detail and time management and it was not my job to manage him, but Raquel’s responsibility.

Raquel did speak to me on the phone after the initial email and was extremely defensive and did not take the time to listen to my concerns. She stated the only way she could be sure I was telling the truth was to see it for herself. As I had already cleaned up after her staff member that was not possible but I had photo proof I could send, which she asked me to send through.
At no point was there any offer of her coming herself to rectify the situation, I did decline her staff member from returning as I was not comfortable with the level of aggression coming from Raquel and having either of them in my home again.

Edit 1: Since leaving negative reviews on here and her Facebook business page Raquel has now threatened to sue me for defamation. In the email she sent me on the advice of her lawyer she continued to make derogatory remarks about me, rant about my home 'not a clean house to begin with' (I thought that's why you hire a cleaner?) and making false accusations against me. It was just continued unprofessional behaviour on her part.
The whole experience has left me out of pocket, wasted my time, and definitely not hiring a cleaner again.
I have taken this matter further to Fair Trading and await their input.

I choose to try Raquel out of all the various cleaners advertising because of "the extra pair of hands" and that's exactly what she's been. My entire home had descended into chaos over a long period and I desperately needed help cleaning and restoring order. I'm reasonably fit & capable, just time poor; Raquel has been wonderful going above and beyond, and getting through the work faster than I could given the same time. This has been the best investment in my wellbeing I could possibly have made.

We are lucky enough to be supported with a regular service by this fantastic local business. Not only are the staff kind, efficient and detail oriented in their work, but they are reliable and trustworthy.
They are easy to communicate with and flexible when able. I highly recommend their services. Thank you for all you do to support our family.

Raquel did a cleaning on my girlfriend's home in Lismore before the rental inspection. The real estate said the house never looked better. So we will use her everytime and go to the beach for the day like we did last week.
