I have had business dealings with Raine & Horne Wollongong for over 12 years in the capacity of property management and property sales. In every instance, I have received courteous and competent service with regards to the management of my investment property. The regular property inspections were conducted in a careful and professional manner with clear photographic reporting. The selection of tenants was done thoughtfully so that I never had to be concerned about the upkeep of my property.

If that was not excellent service, the sales agent who took charge of all aspects of the marketing and sales of my two properties was exceptional. Without exaggeration, he conducted himself with aplomb in all communications and business matters. I couldn't have been happier with the outcome.

Overall, I would strongly recommend the Wollongong branch of Raine & Horne for your property dealings.

As a tenant, I bent over backwards, even allowing the owner to renovate the unit by having the floor sanded while I was there - having the unit out of bounds for 5 days and having to find my own accommodation for 2 of those days while I was charged full rent. This floor sanding also involved having to deal with a very pushy guy from Homestead and ended up having to move the owners furniture for him including his fridge (partially furnished unit). The unit was not cleaned by cleaners after the floor was sanded - just a quick wipe-down by the tradesman. There was no inspection before and after the floor was sanded. When I finished the lease a few months later there was an over-zelous cleaning inspection including things like the washing machine being dirty which was not even on the incoming inspection since the property manager did not even know there was one (was concealed in kitchen). Also I was forced to pay for a repair to a cupboard which I did not notice but I am pretty sure it was an accident when I was forced to move the owners fridge. I would strongly recommend against renting from these guys unless you are happy to clock up a huge loss against your bond at the end of your lease.

I was selling my late mother’s home and Jay from Raine and Horne was a true gentleman from start to finish. I cannot say enough good things about him. I felt like I was talking to a friend rather than an agent. He was so caring and kept me up to date every step of the way. His professionalism was second to none. Would highly recommend him to anyone who was selling their home.

My experience with the rental team as a propert owner offered nothing less than a high degree of professionalism and they paid attention to every detail. The subsequent sale of the house was carried out in a timely and efficient manner and I was informed of every development. I would recommend the sales agent Dan Hall as a person of integrity and very friendly and great to deal with. The administration staff were courteous, friendly and responsive to all my enquiries.
