We did a 6 month lease in Kiama from Raine and Horne. As advertised as a 2 bed room place, when the initial inspection took place Raine and Horne mentioned that the 2nd room and the Kitchen had suffered water damage and the builders have ordered the materials but there was a back order but it would be complete within 4-6 weeks. Just shy of 3 months later my partner reached out asking for an update and we got a reply from Blake saying “i will contact the builders, and find out what’s happening as it has been long”

After 5 months of our lease we got fed up with the lack of communication and the fact we paid $50 per week over the advertised price we requested an early lease break as per the apartment not being fulfilled to the advertised 2 bedroom it was supposed to be.

Raine and Horne then had the hide to sting us with a $550 break lease fee, which they said was the landlords request at 3/10 king street kiama.

Shows the empathy and compassion from these guys during these trying times.
