Jackie was in charge of a property that I was interested in and helped to facilitate all the negotiations between myself and the seller.
During the whole process, she would constantly keep in contact and update me on everything to ensure that the transaction went smoothly.

As a buyer, the experience with communicating and negotiating with her was smooth and easy. There was a never a time where I had to wait too long for a reply or had difficulty requesting information, inspections etc.as she generally replied within 10 minutes!

I would highly rate Jackie and recommend anyone that is looking to buy or sell to get in contact with her if you are interested in any of the properties that she is overseeing or looking to sell your own as, from my experience as a buyer, she was going above and beyond to make sure everything happened smoothly for the seller and ensured that expectations were met and deadlines were hit.

Avoid this agents as they are unprofessional. Hardly reply back ur emails. As we have to left this agent due to property owner fail to pay their mortgage and told to evacuate within 30 days. Agent taking time to release our bond even we hand over key with no valid reason. Every time I tried to contact them about but they trying avoid to release my bond. Finally I have to ask for Fair Trade for help and release bond by myself. I believe they are too busy or don’t care about client.

We rented with R&H Ashfield and we couldn’t fault our agent, Darren Cheng. He was a great communicator and always helped organise any tradesmen as soon as they were needed. Fully recommend this agency for their customer skills and all round care.

As a buyer, Jackie was easy to communicate with and responded promptly to all of our enquiries. She was the only agent we dealt with to provide a reasonably realistic price guide on the properties she was selling, which we greatly respect and appreciate. I believe she represented her vendors well and I think all parties involved have come away feeling satisfied. Highly recommend.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Rented through them for a year and a half. Perfect tenants, never late on a single rent payment. From the outset we were lied to about the house having 2 car spots when it only had one. The dishwasher was broken when we moved in. We reported this and mentioned on condition report along with numerous other issues.

Every email we sent was ignored and never replied to. The place was filthy and run down when we moved in and we improved the gardens, fixed broken towel racks, shower heads almost falling off the wall because Raine & Horne never responded so a single repair request in 1.5 years. Regardless we liked the house and living there, but when one of our housemates had to leave sydney to care for her sick mother we decided we couldn't afford to stay there anymore.

We said we are regretfully having to end the lease and cleaned the place top to bottom. It was left in a far better condition than when we moved in. We did repairs, fixed outdoor flood lights and broken down pipes all ourselves. We never had a single inspection in 1.5 years of living there. A week before our end date someone from Raine & Horne decided to come and see if there were any repairs needed. I mentioned our years worth of repair requests and why they were never actioned. She didn't know about any of it, turns out all our repair requests had been going to a spam folder they never bothered to check.

So we're a week out from moving, the house is packed full of boxes and looking like a warehouse obviously. The agent makes a comment that the place is really messy and it's gonna be hard for us to clean when we leave *wink wink* (there are 3 of us, one a professional cleaner, we spent two whole days getting the house absolutely spotless)

Fast forward to when we move out, and of COURSE they made a claim against our bond claiming that is wasn't clean. I am a pro photographer. I took hundreds of before and after pics PROVING it was handed back in better condition. We show them this. Thry ignore it. When they send us the final exit condition report with their photos showing that the house isn't clean, we think hmm something isn't quite right.

We reference their photos against the ingoing condition report and THEY ARE THE EXACT SAME PHOTOS. Literally the exact same angle, hand position, everything. Their photos are literally the same photos from the ingoing report. We explain to them that our actual real photos show that they are clearly lying. They don't care. They tried to claim carpet cleaning for the main throughfare from the front door. Their photos are exactly the same as the ingoing report. It's fair wear and tear. They ignore it.

The best part? They TORE THE DAMN CARPETS OUT AND PUT IN FLOORBOARDS 3 days later! They are trying to claim our bond to clean carpets that don't exist anymore that were in the same condition that when we moved in anyway.

Raine & Horne Ashfield are unprofessional, deceitful, vindictive liars. They will ignore you for years and then make bogus bond claims to try and squeeze every cent they can get out of you. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

This agent Nancy is disgusting, extremely unprofessional. Nancy even begged me to give her a five star review, I refused to do so.

There are far better rental agents to use! Avoid if possible! I can see why they have Nancy in charge of bonds cos if they don’t make money from your weekly rent they will definitely make money from fictitious ‘faults’ when you move out of the property! Your conditions report that you fill in doesn’t matter! Clearly some of the properties need maintenance so any issues you spot report and document otherwise they will try and get you to foot the bill! Accidentally left a child safe sticker on a cupboard and this was classed as damage! Have dealt with many real estates in my time and have never had issues with bonds being returned so be wary of this one! Instead of the owners paying for work to their own property it’s almost like they will try and get you to pay for these when you leave! Clearly they don’t check properties from previous tenants like they say they do!

Raine & Horne Ashfield is just good when they show you the property after that they never listen to you how much you call them. I got a unit from them in burwood. The carpet was damage form the first day of moving called the mail them and even went to office to maintain it but they never look after that. Really a bad agent of that area. They call you every day if the payment is not made. One of worst agent till the day.

Shout out to the A-Team at Raine and Horne Ashfield. It was a month-long process from organising inspections, to reaching an agreement and signing, as well as getting the property up to scratch post moving. Christina was there at the start to organise inspections, Danny was punctual and professional at inspection, Nancy doing the majority of paperwork/signing stage and back to Christina for organising key repair works (two major leak issues). It was a true team effort, do keep it up and thank you very much to the A-Team.
