Exceptional Communication and Professionalism. We had an amazing experience while looking and applying for a rental through Tate Brownlee Real Estate. In particular I would like to recognise Dietmar as he was incredibly professional and approachable with no question being too much, as well as having his potential applicants interests in the forefront of all he does. Trying to obtain a rental that fit our needs as a family of 6 while being unable to make face to face inspections due to living in Far North Queensland and work commitments did not phase Dietmar in the least. He always took the time to show me through a property in detail via Face time which was beyond appreciated. He was incredibly professional, with top notch communication and we were always kept up to date with every step of the process. Wonderfully Accomodating! Tate Brownlee Real Estate was wonderful through the entire process. As someone who was looking for a rental property interstate, I had significant difficulty getting online inspections. With Tate Brownlee it was never a trouble, I did multiple online inspections. They communicated consistently throughout and the process was seamless! Would recommend to anyone!

Finally a property manager that can Hustle hard to get GREAT results.

I’m definitely not the easiest property owner to please and have really high standards for who ever looks after our property. More specifically I look for someone who can see our vision and help bring it to life in a rental property. We were originally appraised a rental value of around $500 per week and when we first met with the team I let them know that I wanted to beat that by at least $250 per week. We completed small renovations on the house and with the help of Dietmar and the team were able to secure solid tenants for more than $800/week on a 12 month lease. We spoke with at least 6 other agents before deciding on this team and the results speak for themselves. In particular what stood out for me was the vision that Tatebrownlee had for our property and how we could get the maximum yield from it. From my perspective others just wanted to add another property to their management list and just wanted to do business as usual.

We were given a short notice to leave our private rental, my fiancé and I had to frantically start looking for a new home to reside in. Given the current rental market we were not hopeful as we had previously been denied due to such an influx of applications at all of the properties we looked at (some with 20-30+ people showing at inspections.) When we met Sally Smith (property Manager) of Tate Brownlee Real Estate at one of her many managed properties Sally was able to help/guide us to all of the homes that would be suitable and available for our family/situation.
We applied for the perfect home for our little family, again not really hopeful of being approved whilst still going to many other inspections and applying also. Sally was not only able to help us with the first property that we loved but was able to secure it in 4 business days! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING service and stress free process from Sally and the team who assist with applications. I would recommend Sally and the team at Tate Brownlee RE to anyone in the area in the future looking to secure the perfect property.

Hosts open houses and wastes the time of 20+ people when they’ve approved tenants prior to the open house. Scam.

The most unprofessional agency that I have ever dealt with. Zero ethics towards their long term tenants and staff who offer bad advice without any repercussions coming back to them.
Extremely poor communication.
I have never put a review like this up previously but the experience we had with them was terrible and deserves this review.

Our whole family highly recommend Tate, Sandy, Logan, Brad and the entire extended team at TBRE.
We made the mistake of not placing our property with TBRE initially, and wished we could’ve turned back time. Tate didn’t hold our mistake against us, and he wasted no time getting to work finding our buyers.

We can’t thank them enough… the professionalism they provide is by far the best in the region, we would suggest further afield aswell. They whole team built such a fantastic rapport with not only us but with our children and the invaluable advice Tate provided to us throughout the journey was amazing.

They not only sold our property within the time frame as promised but achieved a street record in an uncertain downturn in the market.
