Quoi Dining Restaurant reviews
67 The overall experience was not over the top or worth the price. A couple of dishes in the digger station menu were substituted with cheaper options with no reduction in price or additional options.
The same puree was used in 2-3 dishes making everything taste the same.
The owner decided to put the cutlery on the stand when we were eating, which was right where we were seated btw, making a lot of noise, which showed a lack of courtesy.
Overall an average experience and not worth the price.
The older gentleman waiter was superb. His recommendations were spot on. Food outstanding.
Hi Joshua, we would ask that you would discontinue posting fake reviews and using your staff to push mislead and false information. If you have any decency, we advise you to pay your staff correctly
Quite simply put. I n c r e d I b l e!
I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Quoi on my first trip back to my homeland after a four year absence Having lived around the world in major cities Quoi is unequivocally one of the most unbelievable restaurants I have ever dined at. The service we received from Brady and Daniel was phenomenal and their attention to detail was exceptional.
We were warmly welcomed by Joshua, the owner and executive chef and knew we were in for a true culinary experience.
We ordered the Degustation 'Full Tasting Menu' and it did NOT disappoint. Joshua's brilliantly thoughtful menu had balance, texture, flavour and creativity which shone through in every single dish.his passion is clearly evident.
Not only is he a master in the kitchen, he has his own wine label 'Ciel' which paired magnificently and complimented the meal exquisitely.
It was a masterful experience from beginning to end and Quoi will be on the top of my list on my next visit home. Thank you to the entire Quoi family for making my experience so incredible.
This is one of the best finds of the year and can highly recommend. A little French hidden gem. Beautifully designed and delivers a bit of fine dining glamour to The Hills. Think impeccable service, top-end steaks to free range pork belly with plum and cabbage, Kingfish ceviche, Mushroom truffle risotto and a delicious assortment of deserts. Service is simply excellent and who doesn't love hearing the staff speaking French!
Hires very young people so he can take advantage of them in LOTS of ways
Unacceptable practices by the owner of this restaurant
Docking pay staff & expectation to work hours way beyond shift without payment
food hygiene not to standards with oyster left out and smelly meat OK to cook
Cuts corners to save every $ and not pay or treat young staff well
We've dined at Quoi several times now and have always been highly impressed with the food, wine and service. It's refreshing when a restaurant exceeds your expectations and we're fortunate to have a restaurant of this standard outside of the city limits.
Whilst it was a quiet Sunday evening, we had wonderful food and experience at Quoi. We went for my mums birthday and they were so lovely to give us suggestions and of course the suggestions did not disappoint. The chefs wine was wonderful as well as the cocktails. Thanks again for the wonderful evening.
What a hidden gem. I clearly have delved deeply enough into the Norwest business park hospitality scene however quoi was a proper peach! The steak list is very high quality and the chefs have the training to treat them with respect too. Degustation or ala carte. Just wish they had some Al fresco seating for nice days perhaps.
Quoi Dining, quaint fine dining @ Norwest. My friends & I thoroughly enjoyed our meals tonight. Spoil yourself with delicious menu choices, excellent service in a very comfortable stylish setting.thank you Chanel & the Quoi staff for spoiling us. We will be back soon.
Beautiful atmosphere and even better food. Staff very friendly and attentive. Foodies beware, the meals and portions are so much more generous than you may imagine, Duck croquet canapé is the best. We will be back
Located by the riverside of Norwest marketplace, a very quiet and cosy restaurant that you can enjoy with your significant other or friends.
Food was great, the waitresses try to provide a service that goes beyond what you pay for.
Good selection of wines and cocktails.
Nicely cooked meats.
Went there last weekend with my friend and we had to wait nearly 90 minutes for our food to arrive only for my friend to be dissatisfied with the fish, they took it back and brought him another serving which meant I ate my food alone. I ordered lamb, and only got 2 small pieces on my plate with hardly any sides. Had to leave some of my lamb as it was tough, so in reality all I had was a very small amount of food. I was left disappointed.
It was actually very disappointing. Food wasnt nice at all. Service wasn't good either. We had to order drinks 3 times before they came, they were terrible at clearing plates that they ended up encouraging us to passing our plates to them and took forever to bring out the food, some people had to leave early missing 3 courses to to get their kids because they took so long. The food was a degustation, of what I remember my lamb was chewy, and ceviche was thick and tough, mini tarts texture was not pleasant, duck cube was like compacted dry tuna salad, and I cant even remember what was good except for one barrumandi dish, the palatte cleanser and one of the desserts. I was expecting everything to be top notch but unfortunately wouldnt recommend.
Booked this dinner for our trip to Sydney, as we stayed nearby, ox tongue was over cooked, we also ordered barramundi, but it was missed out, I was shocked, never experienced this in restaurant, and then we had lamb and risotto for the main, lamb was the worst I had in a “fine dinning” restaurant, they served us the part with so much fat cannot even been cut off, and we suggested this to the lady worked in the restaurant on that day, she was happy about our suggestions and told us will give us a free dessert, which turns out was a free bon bon, this should be free originally, I have dined in a lot Michelin restaurants also hats restaurant in Australia, I can say service and taste was disappointed, a restaurant like this would never get a hat in Melbourne!
The service and food were very good. The recommendation of Josh for the wine was most rewarding.
The food is great. Same for the wine and dessert. We were attended by Eliana which is wonderful with great knowledge of the food and wine, attentive, friendly, and accomodating. A great dining place in the Hills/Western Sydney that worth a visit.
It was such a fantastic experience for me and my wife!:) We celebrated our anniversary by having the 12 course meal with wine pairing.the food and the wine were fantastic, and so was the service! Our waitress was so nice and friendly, and our sommelier was spot on! His descriptions of the wine were so accurate, we were so amazed! My only regret is I forgot the waitress's name!: (I didn't make this review straightaway so I forgot her name! We really wanted to highlight how much an asset she is to Quoi!:)
Anyways, we highly recommend Quoi!
This place really does deserve the five stars. Really good food and the service was impeccable. The tasting menu did not disappoint and is catered to vegetarians at request. Sadly the regular menu does not have the same options or vegetarian range that could be possible. If the chef can incorporate a larger vegetarian menu as part of the regular menu this establishment would cut it with the best.
I went there the first time to celebrate 6 months wedding anniversary and my pregnancy.
Everything was great and delicious.
Cannot wait to be able to come back now with my baby boy.
