Quiz Room Sydney

A group of 6 of us visited Quiz Room last week and had a great time. The questions were broad enough, no individual had a major advantage and the pacing was mostly great. Venue is clean and tidy with amenities and staff are friendly. Ali in particular was lovely and accomodating and helped make our experience even better.

My one critique is the OG/Music Quiz format when playing with a group of 6. The game is seperated into 3 major sections. The first section is a great way to start and gets people involved. The second and third section are a little different.
In the 2nd section, only the first 3 correct answers can be submitted. This means in a group of 6, half your group is missing out on even answering. Typically some people are faster/more competitive than others so often the same people can miss out several rounds in a row.
In the 3rd section, only the first correct answer is submitted, further exacerbating this issue. For us this let to some of my friends not answering 10+ questions in a row (skill issue I know).

A minor proposal to fix this would be allowing those players to make "ghost answers" to the questions - meaning they gain/lose 0 points (and it doesnt impact the scoring) but they still get the feeling of getting the question right or wrong and keep interacting with the game.

In a group of 4, this is less bad as only 1 person misses out in the 2nd section.

Had a fun great time playing the music and normal rounds. The time really flies by. Ben was super helpful.

Great fun especially in big groups and if everyone’s into trivia and those sorts of things. It was better than expected as it more to just answering the questions right - strategy comes into play, speed as well in different rounds.

There were some technical issues which we had to wait for awhile for them to get it sorted but the staffs were great and compensated for it.

Would certainly recommend.

Amber the virtual host does all the talking in the quiz room for a seamless experience. The use of jokers (lifelines & features to hinder your opponents) adds a really spicy element to your traditional trivia games making it very tactical and interactive.

Our group had a very fun experience as there was lots of laughs to be had. The staff member there was informative with the setup.

You get your group photo along with a break down of your session in detail for all those bragging rights too.

Such a fun and creative experience! Kate at the front desk was a delight, would 100% come back again!

Brilliant game. Ben was a lovely host. Even though we were cheated out of the win, I would absolutely recommend this!

Was a really fun place, had a blast with friends.a great group activity for anytime during the week.only critic was that there were a few errors but it was understandable considering this place was so new.

Ben was such a good host. So friendly and amazing. It was like seeing Millionaire Hotseat all over again. I’ll be back here just to see Ben. Btw the game itself was so good. But Ben was better. GOOOOOOO BEN!

The games were so fun and the trivia was a good mix of difficult and easy. Even if you are bad at trivia, you still have a chance of winning using strategy. Shout out to Kate, who was so bubble and helpful! She truly made the experience so enjoyable.

We had so much fun doing this! We all got super competitive which made it such a great time. Huge shoutout to Ben who was absolutely FANTASTIC and made the whole experience enjoyable.
